Futures or Forex?
Hey all, I have a question. As a beginner, I want to start investing with a prop firm. Can someone explain to me whether I should choose futures or forex? I would prefer to choose Forex because I only have to pay for the account once (not monthly), but not many prop firms support Trading View. Can I still invest in forex with a futures account?

Lucid, Goat, Tradeify, and Blue Guardian don’t charge a monthly fee and don’t expire.
The power and protection of scaling with low risk
Why invest in a few accounts to add to the algo each month? Because tiny risk can achieve this in one trade when it's multiplied by many accounts.

@Jonathan Ferrier my approach with manual trading is pretty much the same as algo trading. It’s different than most people do, but I always have at least one EA going. As soon as I pass one, I start another. It’s a slow process because using low risk takes a long time, but when I win it’s multiplied across a poop ton of PAs and I almost never blow funded accounts. I have prioritized building capital over quick payouts. I’m fine with it taking longer because I don’t just want a $500 or $1000 payout here and there, I want a solid 20k a month with almost 0 chance of me blowing accounts. I’m totally fine with playing the long game.

@Ryan Medhurst that was just my 50k Fortuna accounts.
🎥 🚀 Beyond Apex: My Top 3 (Recording Available)
Thanks to everyone who joined today's session! We took a look beyond Apex and explored my top three funded futures firms: GOAT Funded Futures, My Funded Futures, and Tradeify. If you couldn't make it or you'd like to revisit the discussion, the recording is now available. In this session, we covered: - Why it's worth diversifying beyond a single funded firm - The account types offered by each firm - Key rules and differences to consider - Which firms I prefer for manual trading vs. automated trading - The pros and cons of each based on my own experience Whether you're just getting started with funded accounts or looking to expand beyond Apex, I hope this session helps you make a more informed decision. As always, if you have additional questions after watching the replay, feel free to post them in the community. I'm happy to help. See you at the next session! — Coach Stephen

@Stephen Gerald Onyia Just FYI, Tradeify definitely doesn't allow automation. They and TPT are the most aggressive about monitoring for it. Bots/Algorithmic Trading At Tradeify, we allow the use of bots and algorithms under certain conditions: 1. Ownership: You must be able to prove that you are the sole owner of the bot or strategy, and that no one else has access to or is using it. This ensures that the bot/algorithm is not being shared with other traders or firms. 2. We scan to ensure there are no similar orders on other accounts. We will also require a live video of you enabling the code on your own PC. 3. Exclusive Use: While you may use the bot on your personal accounts, using it across multiple firms is against Tradeify's policy. The bot should be solely for your own use within Tradeify.

@Stephen Gerald Onyia Is it an EA? They scan on funded accounts. I confirmed this with them.

@Chris Renner oh but that’s just the first five payouts. It’s not limited to a max number like the new ones.

@Kalah Green You'll need to choose Tradovate as your broker if you want to use the algo, and most of the big prop firms also work with Tradovate. I actually think it's great to use the algo while you're learning so you can get some money coming in while you work on the manual stuff. 😊
