After you finish your first draft, what steps do you take before formatting? Self editing, beta readers, developmental editing (paid), copy/line/grammatical editing (paid), then proof reading (paid)?

Hi all, 1- Persistence is key 2- Allocate time daily for 1–2 hrs 3- Don't be discouraged by bad reviews (they are a great learning tool) 4- Publish books that will push forward humanity 5- Writing burnout is real! Like any job or hobby 6- Rotate the "free promotion" feature between your book to gain exposure 7- Like any business in the world, you may encounter haters or trolls along the way.
