🎯 Today’s Mission In our last lesson, we learned that: - Reading fluency becomes speaking fluency. - Natural speakers communicate in thought groups—not word by word. - Great readers sound like they are having a conversation. - Every new reading should sound better than the first. Today, we’ll take the next step: Don’t just ask, “Is my English good?” Ask: “What is my current level—and what specific skills will take me to the next one?” 🔥 Output Challenge: Where Are You Now? Answer these questions aloud without preparing: 1. How would you describe your current English level? 2. What can you do confidently in English? 3. What still prevents you from speaking naturally? 4. Where would you like your English to be in the next 90 days? Speak for 45–60 seconds. Don’t stop to correct every mistake. Speak now. Fix later. 📊 Understanding the Levels Recently, I have been testing some of my one-on-one coaching students to identify their current English levels. The goal is not simply to give them a label. The goal is to find out: - What can they already do? - Where are the gaps? - What should they practice next? - What will help them level up? Here is a simple overview: A1 — You can use basic words and simple sentences. A2 — You can communicate about familiar, everyday topics. B1 — You can express ideas, experiences, and opinions with some detail. B2 — You can communicate clearly, develop ideas, and participate in more complex conversations. C1 — You can express yourself fluently, strategically, and professionally. C2 — You can communicate with precision, flexibility, and deep understanding. Your level is not your identity. It is simply your current location on the roadmap. The real question is: What are you doing consistently to move forward? 🧠 Today’s Fluency Skill: Develop the Idea Moving up a level does not only mean learning more vocabulary or grammar. It means learning to develop your ideas. Compare: A2: “I want to improve my English.” B1: “I want to improve my English because I need to communicate more confidently at work.”
