I've just started experimenting with Ubuntu server on an old Panasonic laptop. There's really nothing like the joy of the first ssh connection into another machine only feet away. I should have done this years ago. Thanks for the push @Mischa van den Burg I can't believe how much I've learned in just getting this far.
