Hi! I started playing bass when I was 13 in 1986 and after my high school music teacher hired me to replace the bassist in his band for a gig and I realized that I could get paid to play, I decided to go to college and university to study music. I’ve worked as a freelance bassist since then and have gotten into home studio recording since 2015, took some online courses and started making production music, and I’ve started to get work as a producer even with my imperfect semi-pro skills. My goals of late have been to transition from a freelancer to an artist mindset, and I’ve been experimenting with different collaborative projects, songwriting, producing and releasing music under the names O-deh (pop), Ungaki (EDM), Roadkill Soup (progressive death metal) and did some solo bass music under my name. I think that learning is never ending so I’m here to see what I can expand on and to help get better in all aspects of musical creation. I think I can help mainly with intentionality in the creative process i.e being aware of what you’re trying to express or accomplish with a piece of music, or the process of creation, which I think can get easily lost in the technical aspects of the craft. So if you’re not sure of the whys of what you’re doing, I’m open to discussion! Another one of my goals would to be able to gain enough knowledge and skill to be able to dive into the production of songs that are therapeutic in nature for myself and eventually help other people do the same.

@Jasper Labuschagne Hey Jasper. Thanks for taking the time to listen to some of my stuff! Sorry you couldn't find O-Deh on Soundcloud, I'd have to check with my digital distributors to see if it's on their list... You can find some of the tracks on YouTube though if you're curious : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPL0YJ_ZPAJFrNMmDDYG0oA As for Roadkill Soup.: The tracks originated from exercices I was writing to hone a weird bass technique (thumb-picking and tremolo bar usage). A few years back I found out that the drummer friend with whom I had "jammed" those parts with had cancer, so I wanted to do something with some recordings I had of our practice sessions as a hommage to his awesome playing. So I took those bass/drums recordings and programmed the rest. The vocals come from a sampled instrument from Soundiron called "Voices of Rage".
