The House Committee moved through HR 7793 a Resolution called Delilahs law. One surprising thing that was included into this Bill is section 7 which prohibits the use of "Foreign Dispatch" Services. A Carrier could be fined up to $50,000 for use of these services if this resolution is passed. The interesting thing is dispatching is not a regulated part of the trucking industry, unlike brokers who are. Many American companies over the last decade have embraced the use of foreign BPO services. I’ve always been curious about how that process actually works, and it’s also been a concern of mine that someone could potentially use an authority without the owner’s knowledge.
