What you do when building gets HARD. Affiliate links and whether they actually make sense for your community. And quite a bit more that I wasn’t expecting us to get into. What I loved most, though, was how much of Sybil’s experience applies whether you’re just opening the doors or you’ve been building for a while. One of the highlights of this week was spending time with @Jewels Sherriff during a Golden Ticket conversation. As we talked about her Courage Collective, something became clear. Communities aren't always the destination. Sometimes they're the bridge. A bridge between where someone is today... ...and where they hope to be tomorrow. It's easy to think our role as community builders is to create content. But perhaps our greater role is to create a place where people feel supported enough to take the next courageous step. That perspective stayed with me. The strongest communities don't simply share information.
