7 Day social media challenge
The challenge is posting as much content in 7 days as you can. Likes, comments, and shares are even better, but overall posting it up is the challenge. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places all get a KJ Sawka sample pack that you don't already have. Or if you have them all, I'll send you an unreleased one. We start at 3:30 PM PST on Tuesday, following our Rhythm Round-up group call.

@Kj Sawka I forgot which day we started exactly, but 9/15-9/21 we had 5 posts!
Quick Check-In - I wanna hear from you
Hey gang, Lately, I’ve noticed something interesting in our 1:1’s, there’s been a shift in focus. Instead of leaning so heavily on social media growth, more of you are diving deep into production: drum design, mixing, mastering, and trying to finish songs. This is a good thing. These skills are the foundation, the real engine of your music career. Ideally, this comes before we start pushing hard on social media, because promotion only works when there’s a solid product behind it. I know career goals can feel far away sometimes. And it’s true: if your aim is to be the next Skrillex, there’s a lot to do. But this step, building mastery in your craft, is exactly the right move. Every finished track is a building block that makes the bigger dream possible. I’ve also been reflecting a lot on the current state of the music industry. AI is breaking down walls of creativity, not just in graphics with tools like MidJourney, but now within songwriting and production. As a songwriter, it can feel bitter at times. I give this thought every single day, and I keep coming back to the same conclusion: keep my head down in the creativity, make the best music I possibly can, while also keeping a full understanding of what AI is doing and how it’s shaping our industry. Please keep the questions coming, and let me know how you’re doing both in the studio and outside of it.

In the studio I've never been able to make music this quickly before, so I've been really happy about that. Outside of the studio, I'm working towards having a more stable life balance. I also feel better about AI after recognizing it's still math playing with math, and improvisation is an efficient means of creating a lot of human calculation.
Monday Question for all members
Happy Monday everyone! And happy Labor Day to our US members. Quick question for our UK crew, do you have a bank holiday today too? I’d love to hear from each of you: What’s the #1 thing you know you need to focus on right now that, if you put more time into it (or gained a bit more knowledge), would create the most growth in your music career? Drop your answer in the comments, I want to see where everyone’s at!

figuring out a live performance that makes sense to me.
What is your Driving Force with music & art?
What are things that make you drop everything and have to run into the studio?

My driving force with music & art is the want to practice towards mastery of it. What makes me drop everything and run to the studio is opportunity - I feel like i'm always juggling but sometimes I know I need to do a flip.
