Your Kid is Doing This Crazy Thing Before Every Race… And It’s Slowing Them Down!
Your swimmer has a secret superpower. It’s NOT their dolphin kick. It’s NOT their flip turn. It’s NOT their ability to inhale pasta at inhuman speeds. It’s something way more powerful… 🔑 The Anxiety Advantage. The same thing that makes them nervous before races……is the SAME thing that can make them race their fastest times ever. Right now, they’re using it the wrong way. 😬 Instead of picturing themselves winning, they see themselves messing up. Instead of feeling excited, they feel sick to their stomach. Instead of trusting their training, they race like a panicked squirrel on an energy drink. Sound familiar? Here’s the good news: If they can visualize failure that well, they can visualize success just as well. They just need to learn how to flip the switch. I’m running a free 45-minute live training on Zoom to show swim parents exactly how to turn The Anxiety Advantage into their swimmer’s biggest strength. 📆 Sunday, March 2rd @7pm CET (6pm UK) Want in? I have 25 spots. No recording. Pls only comment if you're gonna show up. 👉 Comment “ADVANTAGE” below, and I’ll send you the link to register.

Secret #3: The tools
My biggest takeaway is that helping my daughter has now become doable and I don't feel as overwhelmed anymore. My biggest challenge would be to keep at it consistently in between life happening. This will benefit my child hugely as I have seen her physically sick from anxiety and nerves, and I don't want that for her!

Secret #2: The missing piece
My biggest takeaway is realising how we have neglected the mind aspect of our daughter's training. Our coach keeps talking about it, but doesn't know how to train/implement. Knowing now how this has tripped her up in her performance. My biggest concern is getting her buy in. I want my child to be successful and enjoy swimming because I know how talented she is and what she can achieve and I want her to see that too. Also knowing how much joy she gets out of good performance.

Secret #1: The biggest mistake
1. Biggest takeaway - is realising that we have been making this mistake over and over 2. Biggest concern - I think it can work for my child, and I will try and introduce this to her this weekend still 3. She leaves on school camp on Monday for 5 days, after which she has Provincial School trials, so it feels kinda urgent now
