Signs You’re Not Ready for Alaska Yet
If any of these surprise you… you might want to do a little homework first and join my Skool Community, Alaska - Know Before You Go. • You think a moose is basically a friendly forest horse. • You assume Amazon Prime = two-day delivery. • You think “just down the road” means 10 minutes. • You’ve never driven on ice… but feel confident anyway. • You assume every town has a Target. • You think winter means a cute dusting of snow. • You think summer sunsets happen around 9 PM. Alaska is breathtaking, wild, and unforgettable… but it’s also very different from the rest of the United States. People come here for adventure, opportunity, teaching jobs, road trips, and sometimes a whole new life. But the people who enjoy it the most? They’re the ones who knew what they were getting into. That’s exactly why I created Alaska – Know Before You Go. Inside the community we talk about: • What life in Alaska is really like • Visiting vs. relocating • Teaching and working in Alaska • Alaska road trip planning • Different communities across the state • Cost of living and logistics • Practical advice from someone who actually lives here Whether you’re planning the trip of a lifetime or thinking about making Alaska home… You’ll be a lot better prepared when you know before you go. 🫎🏔️ 👉 Come join the community and start learning what Alaska is really like.
Signs You’re Not Ready for Alaska Yet
Thinking about Alaska? Don’t rely on reels and guesswork.
If you, or someone you know, are planning to visit, move to, teach in, or road-trip through Alaska, I run a community called Alaska – Know Before You Go that was built for one simple reason: 👉 Alaska costs too much—in time, money, and energy—to figure it out the hard way. I’ve lived and worked across Alaska, including remote and fly-in communities, and I created this space to share what people usually don’t learn until after they arrive. 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭: 🧭What Alaska life is actually like (not the Instagram version) 🧭Real logistics: travel, housing, weather, roads, remoteness, and cost of living 🧭Teaching and working in Alaska, what to expect and what to watch for 🧭RV and road-trip realities most people underestimate 🧭Honest Q&A with people who live here, not influencers passing through No fluff. No hype. Just clear, experience-based insight so people can make smart decisions before they commit. ✨ Right now, the community is free to join. I’m intentionally building it with early members before introducing a premium tier, which means: ✅ you can explore it with zero pressure ✅ early members help shape what’s coming next ✅ you’re in before any paid options roll out We’re currently at 33 members and growing intentionally. If you value real talk, thoughtful planning, and learning from lived experience, this community was built for you. And even if Alaska isn’t on your radar, you probably know someone it is. Feel free to pass this along. It might save them a lot of stress (and money). If Alaska is anywhere in the picture, you’re welcome to join us. I am excited for this community to grow and I’d love for you (or someone you know) to be part of that journey. 🧭 Alaska - Know Before You Go

@Heather Boers This is hard to answer! Alaska has so much to offer. If you’re into fishing, I’d suggest the Kenai and Valdez. Want amazing boat tours, check out Kenai Fjords tours and taking a ferry in Southeast. The interior has some amazing hot springs and hiking/cross country skiing. Then there is the train!! And Denali, and the Iditarod Dog Race that ends in Nome, and National Parks you can only reach by plane!

@Abigail Ringger @Heather Boers ummmm, well I did get pulled over in the beginning of January. IT WAS -56º outside and he actually pulled me over! I don't know if he was crazy or dedicated. (I just got a warming though.)
Why My Family Has Trusted Shaklee Vitamins for 50 Years
Shaklee isn’t something I discovered, it’s something I was raised on. My family first turned to Shaklee in 1975. My special needs sister Dana, who has Cri-du-Chat syndrome, was 13 and struggling to grow. After starting Shaklee supplements at the advice of a great aunt, she began to grow...VERY fast. That moment shaped the way our family viewed wellness and nutrition forever. I grew up with Shaklee as part of everyday life, tiny drops of Liquid Lea multi-vitamin as a baby, simple routines, and the belief that what you put in and around your body matters. Today, Dana is 63 years old, takes zero prescription medications, and still uses Shaklee daily. That lifelong consistency is why I trust these products and why I share them. I continue to choose Shaklee over other brands because they do more than sell products, they set a higher standard. Their nutrition is backed by decades of research and designed to support real, long-term health. Their home products are ultra-concentrated and non-toxic, helping families reduce chemical exposure while actually working. Their skincare and beauty products focus on clean ingredients with visible results, so you never have to choose between performance and safety. For me, Shaklee represents trust, consistency, and a simpler way to care for your health, your home, and your family, with products I’ve believed in for a lifetime....Because I've experienced the difference they make. If you'd like to know more, head over to my Shaklee storefront. https://us.shaklee.com/en_US/suzannebell/storefront If you have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comments! Oh, and meet my sister Dana! She is 14 years older than me, I'm the baby in the picture, and everyone's favorite sibling! (There are 5 of us.) I should clarify, DANA is everyone's favorite sibling. I like to think I'm 2nd favorite as the baby of the family. :)

@Abigail Ringger Oh, I love the scrub! I really like Basic -G, the germicide too. I know it won't hurt my pets.
The Directory on Skool: What It Is, What It Isn’t & How to Use It to Your Advantage
I’ve had a few questions about what this space actually is... so I wanted to simplify it. If you’re here to grow your visibility, build connections, and use this community strategically, this will give you clarity. Watch the video, then make sure you’ve reviewed the Start Here module before posting. Let’s keep this space intentional and powerful so that we can all grow our visibility online!
