I’ve had quite a few members reach out to me who are struggling to get their Peony flower project submitted by tomorrow, so I’ve decided to extend the deadline until 8th July. For me, it’s much more important that you actually complete the project and get the most out of it than rush it or not submit it at all. So if you’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed or worried that you won’t get it finished in time, don’t panic! You’ve now got a few extra weeks to work on it. As a result, the giraffe project will be pushed back a week just so no one os overwhelmed, how does that sound to everyone? If you’ve already submitted yours, thank you so much! It’s been fantastic seeing the projects coming in already, and I can’t wait to see what everyone else creates too. Keep going – you’ve got this! 😊

This is my son and daughter-in-law that I made in clay yesterday. We had a fun day and learnt loads. The clay is quite firm to start with so lots of manipulating it to warm it up enough to use which seemed to take longer than sugar paste but the results are brilliant. And it’ll last forever. Everyone’s models were brilliant 👏👏👏 Very happy with these 😍

My name is Karen, I have been making cakes for around 14 years. Ive always been happy enough with my cakes and flowers but modelling people was just never going right for me. I have done Christina’s year long masterclass course and a few in person classes too. With her teaching I have come on leaps and bounds. Look at the first model I made 13 years ago and then the man I made on my last class. What a game changer.

I attempted the Rose and some Stargazer Lilies for a cake for a friend’s mums 80th this weekend. The tutorial for the Rose was really helpful and although they are not perfect I have learnt so much.
