Today, I ran my 7th masterclass. The first 3 I had no success. The 4th one, I got one sale. the 5th one, 1 sale, the 6th one, one sell - BUT it took an extra phone conversation to close a $497 offer. With each masterclass I tightened the message, tightened my target audience, got better at lead nurturing, and this time, the 8th time, I finally sold one, at a higher price $575 plus an upsell of $375. Next month I am moving my offer to $775 with the upsell of the $375. The sale and the upsell covered my ad spend. We are still lead nurturing the other participants into signing up. In October I will move this to $975. By then I will have testimonials that I can use to further increase sales. And instead of only doing two live masterclasses, we will be offering 3 live masterclasses. Doing it this way, and giving people the option of different dates and times, I believe will drive more sign-ups versus advertising 1 masterclass at a time. It will also drive down advertising costs yielding a better ROAS. It was a nice victory to have someone immediately sign-up during the program - giving me the feedback that we are on the right track.
