What riding skill is everyone working on this week?
Mine is:πŸ‘€ Vision + looking further ahead I’ve noticed when the roads get tighter or conditions get sketchy, I naturally start focusing too close in front of the bike instead of properly looking through corners and scanning further up the road. So this week I’m consciously working on: βœ… Looking deeper into corners βœ… Keeping my eyes up βœ… Scanning further ahead βœ… Trusting the bike more instead of staring at hazards Crazy how much smoother and calmer riding feels when your vision improves. What about you guys? What skill, habit or mindset are you focusing on this week? πŸ–€

I constantly work on slow speed and close work. I love to ride and be out and about the town or on the highway but the areas I find harder are not the open road but rather the smaller spaces like car parks, etc. So I regularly take myself to the car park when it's quiet and practice my slow skills, stopping, circles, u-turns, serpentines, etc. 🏍️
🏍️ QUESTION OF THE DAY 🏍️ What’s the MOST comfortable bike you’ve ever ridden?
Not necessarily the fastest. Not the coolest. Not the most powerful. Just the bike that made you go: β€œOhhh… I could ride this thing all day.” And what made it so comfortable? ✨ seat position ✨ confidence level ✨ smooth throttle ✨ suspension ✨ wind protection ✨ emotional vibe honestly πŸ˜‚

For me, it would be my current bike which is a Kawasaki Versys 650. It's an adventure bike and I have sat on it all day/every day for 3 weeks and could have kept going for longer! I learned that as much as I LOVE the look and idea of a nice cruiser they just aren't comfortable for *me* at this stage of my life (post menopausal). I've owned a Suzuki Intruder 250 and a CF Moto 450 but they weren't as comfy as my Vera (Vera the Versys). For me it's about the positioning of my lady bits and backside along with my leg/hip position. I'm 173cm tall with long legs but a bung knee so need a fair bit of room. However, Vera is also so stable, has a nice amount of get-up and go without being blown around in the wind or passing trucks.
