Most people will read this and still stay silent. Don’t be one of them.
This community has value, but value only works when it’s shared. New members are often stuck wondering where to start. Existing members sometimes know a lot but feel unsure about their next move. The difference between staying stuck and moving forward is simple: speaking up instead of staying silent. So let’s do this together. If you’re new here: What’s the one thing you’re trying to understand right now? If you’ve been here a while: What’s one lesson you wish you knew earlier? Drop your thoughts below. One comment can create clarity for you and direction for someone else.

Hey, I’m a beginner. I’ve found a good deal that I would love to sell to an investor but I’m stuck on how to find an investor. Can anyone help please? Speaking up. 😉
Newbie!
Hey everyone I’m Susan. I’m a total beginner in the property but watched lots of stuff online. I’m in the construction industry so have some knowledge and experience to offer. I’m looking at sourcing and R2R to begin with I think, to build some capital or until I get more knowledge and experience! Lol.. Let’s get this party started! 😉

It’s something we could talk about, definitely. 😊
From Empty House to Property Opportunity
Hey guys, I just read an interesting bit of property news… A historic house in the Scottish Borders has been sitting empty for 17 years and is now set for a potential new lease of life. The plans include converting the existing house into 14 flats, restoring two listed buildings and building 34 new homes, including 12 affordable properties. There’s even a café and padel courts planned. What really caught my attention was the reason behind the wider development. The developer says combining everything together creates a financially viable way to save the historic building. And I think there’s a real property lesson in that. Sometimes you have to stop looking at a property for what it is and start looking at what it could become. A large house could potentially become flats. An old commercial building could become residential. A neglected site could have development potential. Or, like this example, several different opportunities could work together to make the numbers stack. The key question is always: Where is the value that other people aren't seeing? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one. Have you ever looked at a property or site and realized there was far more potential there than initially met the eye? Drop your thoughts in the comments...these are the kinds of deals and ideas we should be discussing as a community. Gattonside House near Melrose to be brought back into use

Success Journey of Ann Dunning
A huge congratulations to Ann Dunning 👏 Ann first came across Assets for Life after hearing me speak at the Scottish Business Conference at the end of 2025. She wasn't even there for property... but something clicked. Instead of just feeling inspired, she took action. She joined the 3-Day Property Bootcamp, then continued her journey inside the Money Mastery Academy. What I love about Ann's story is that she wasn't starting from scratch. She already had a successful chocolate business and owned four Serviced Accommodation properties. But she knew there was another level. She wanted to stop working so hard, take control of her money, and learn how to invest with confidence instead of relying on expensive financial advisers. Since joining, she's invested £20,000 into Bitcoin now invests £500 every month, is taking control of her pension, and is saving around £1,000 a month by managing her own investments. Her goal? Building £10,000 a month in investment income. That's a clear vision backed by consistent action. The best part isn't just the numbers. It's the confidence she's built. Ann has taken control of her financial future, surrounded herself with great mentors like Avril, and fully embraced learning through the community. Ann, massive congratulations. You're proof that when you stay coachable, keep learning, and consistently implement what you learn, the results follow. We can't wait to see where your journey takes you next. My advice is simple: don't wait until you know everything. None of us started with all the answers. We started by making a decision to learn, surround ourselves with the right people, and take action. That's exactly what Ann did. If you've been thinking about getting started, come along to a Property Bootcamp or one of our free webinars. That's where so many of our members begin, and you never know, it might be the decision that changes your financial future too. You can also turn this into a recurring Member Success Spotlight format so every testimonial follows the same engaging style while still feeling personal.

Congratulations Ann.
Another deal closed! 🎉🏡
Grateful to say that I just closed on a new property. Every closing is exciting, but what I appreciate most is everything that happens behind the scenes—the lessons, the challenges, the conversations, and the people who help make it happen. This deal reminded me once again: Keep learning. Keep showing up. Keep looking for solutions. One deal at a time, one lesson at a time. Thankful for the journey and excited for what’s next. 🙏 What’s one goal you’re working toward right now? 👇
