ARE YOU AN EVENT EXPERT? 👀
And when I say expert… I mean you’ve been around the event block a few times! 😂 We’re looking for people who are well seasoned in the event arena and really know their stuff. Maybe you’ve spent years organising live events. Maybe workshops, conferences, retreats, networking events or exhibitions are your thing. Perhaps you know the technical side inside out. Or maybe your expertise is getting bums on seats, keeping an audience engaged, finding speakers, securing sponsors, promoting events, following up afterwards… or one of the MANY moving parts that go into creating a really good event. Basically, if events are your world, I want to know about you. We’re building out more of our Experts Corner here at Skool Events Daily, and I want to bring in people who have proper experience and something genuinely useful to share with our members. Not theory not something you watched on YouTube last Tuesday. 😂 I’m talking about the things you’ve learnt from actually DOING it, including the things that went brilliantly, the things that went horribly wrong and the lessons you only learn when you’ve been in the trenches yourself. Because there are a lot of people on Skool running events who would LOVE to learn from people who have already been there and done it. So… Are YOU an event expert? Or do you know someone who absolutely should be on my radar? Tell me below what your area of expertise is. 👇

I am a Spiritual Awakening Coach and I've been organizing local, provincal, and national conventions, retreats, courses, fundraisers, markets & special events for decades. I'm currently planning my second summit for October 26-28th. I definitely learned a lot from my first summit. One thing I learned from a Solar Eclipse event a couple of years ago is don't change venues at the last minute. Trust your intuition lead you in the right direction and it's old fear & doubt holding you back now
🎤 Fancy Being Interviewed About Your Event?
I’m going to be trialling something new for members who have an event coming up — short, informal interviews all about you and your event. The idea is to give you a bit more space to talk about what you’ve got coming up, what people can expect, who it’s for and why they might want to join you. But there’s another reason I want to try this. Sometimes a post or event description only tells you so much. Actually seeing and hearing the person behind the event gives people a chance to get a feel for your energy, your personality and whether they feel they align with you. We’ll start by sharing the interviews here in Skool Events Daily and, if they work well, we’ll look at featuring them on our website and possibly our YouTube channel too — giving your event even more visibility. Nothing long or complicated. Just a short chat about you and what you’ve got coming up. So… who’s in? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Who has an event coming up and would like to be one of the first to give this a go? Pop your hand up below 👇

Awesome idea
If I have to hunt for the date, I’m not coming
So, I scrolled the feed with my morning tea and watched three decent events slide straight past me. Not because they were bad. But because I couldn't tell what day they were on. So the thing is. The events that fill up aren't actually the loudest. They're just the easiest to say yes to. So put the boring bit first. Date. Time. Timezone. How long it runs. Top of the post, not under the origin story. The reason is, people decide in about five seconds, and half of them are deciding on a phone with a readable cover image or nothing at all. Title it like a calendar invite. "Pricing workshop, Thu 7 pm ET" gets a look. "Unleash Your Abundance Era" gets scrolled. One line on who it's for helps more than people think. "New coaches under 500 members" is useful. "Everyone is welcome" usually means I can't tell if I belong there. Say how we get in. Skool Call, Zoom, replay later- just say it. If I have to ask, I probably won't. Then one sentence on what we walk away with. A pricing sheet. A live critique. A clearer offer. That's the pitch. You can stop after that. And post it before the morning of. The Weekly Bulletin is not a teleportation device 🚀😉 Same goes for finding one. Check the Calendar tab, not just whatever's sitting at the top today, and watch the timezone. 7 pm is a school-night evening in Texas and breakfast in New Zealand. @Heather Wilson missed calls over exactly that 😂 Going? Write "I'm in" or ask one real question. Hosts notice, and it bumps the post so the rest of us see it. Des

Thank you!
🎉 400 Members… and we’re still growing! 🎉
Hang on a minute… did we really just hit over 400 members inside Skool Events Daily? 😲 And then I looked a little closer and realised something even better… 90 of those members have joined since the 1st July! Now that is something worth celebrating. 🥳 But the number isn't the only thing making me smile. What I’m really celebrating is what has happened since Des and I decided to join forces and created this partnership. Because if there is one thing I have learnt on this Skool journey, it’s that trying to do everything yourself is a fast track to wearing yourself out (and probably talking to yourself a little too much 😂). Skool is built on connection. It’s built on people helping people, sharing ideas, collaborating, and finding ways to support each other. I honestly believe that in today’s Skool world, you can’t just sit in your own little corner hoping people will discover you. You need to collaborate, build relationships, create partnerships, and yes… do plenty of green dollar bartering along the way. Sometimes the biggest opportunities don’t come from handing over money, they come from asking “how can we help each other?” That is exactly what Des and I have been doing, and it’s been amazing to watch the community grow because of it. So a huge thank you to everyone who has joined, shared, supported, referred, sponsored, or simply popped in and become part of what started as a crazy little experiment called Skool Events Daily. 400 members… 90 new since July 1st… and we are only getting started. Now excuse me while I go celebrate with a peppermint tea ☕

𝗜'𝗺 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀... 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?
One thing I’ve learned from events is that giving yourself more time can make a big difference. The earlier you start sharing your event, the more opportunities people have to see it, plan for it, and actually show up. It also gives you time to talk about it more than once — because most people don’t see a post the first time you share it. Of course, sometimes quick events happen (and they can work brilliantly too), but I’m curious... How far ahead do you usually plan your events? 👇 Vote in the poll

My calendar of events is full. Depending on what it is a plan the actual event weeks or months in advance. My upcoming summit is on August 8th and I've been planning since last month. I just launched the ad campaign yesterday. My regular events/courses I may not have to plan so much because I have been teaching them a long time and the courses are built. The monthly live channelings that I have I can only schedule I can't really plan because I don't know what the channeled message will be.
