I passed the cissp exam around question 100 (not sure about the exact question number). I used strategies already mentioned in the posts here. Thanks for the study sessions. I picked up helpful information from the sessions that I attended.
Is it required to memorize the key length for cipher algorithms (at least the ones from the official book) and hash value lengths? Is anyone doing this?
@Deepu Thomas good summary in one place. Helpful. But I was wondering if any one had any strategies around learning key length. If they are learning every key length or anything in particular. How do they memorize the key lengths -any strategies?
I was studying the cipher modes today. Here is what I learnt; CBC-MAC is mainly used for integrity, authenticity; CCM,GCM provides authenticity, integrity and confidentiality; CTR, CFB,OFB, CBC,ECB provides confidentiality.
A huge congratulations to @Will Bad for passing his CISSP!! š Hear some of his experience in the first few minutes of this session followed by another fantastic presentation by @Josh Botz on Identity & Access Management Protocols crucial for exam success and real-world application. This session covers the ins and outs of SSO, Federated Identity, OAuth, Kerberos, and more, with a focus on scalability and security in modern web applications.
