Happy Saturday!!
I signed up the run a 5k in August. Today was my first jog/walk. I think I did pretty good especially with my breathing. I can walk 3 miles easy but adding running to it is way different.

It depends. If you’re doing several exercises that don’t tax the same muscles. No breaks, just superset. If you need to finish a set then 10-15 sec break and finish with myo reps. If you experience muscular failure while lifting for hypertrophy, then 1-4 minutes. If you “need” to catch your breath 15-30 seconds.
Favorite type of shoe?
What's everyone's favorite type of shoe that you like to train in, or does it matter? Do you bring multiple pairs when you come to the gym like me, lol. I usually bring 2, 1 for cardio/running and 1 for more strength training. What's everyone's favorite type of shoe? My current 2 favorite shoes for the cardio/running these.

It definitely depends on the purpose. For a short run adidas prime x-2s or Nike vaporflys for fun. Vomero premiums or altra carbon 2s for 6-10 miles. 10+ miles and I’ll wear one of my vaporflys or alpha flys. For general workouts I’d use Pegasus premiums or metcons and Nike romaleos for Olympic lifts.
