Vitamin D and K2
The Core Concept Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 work synergistically to manage calcium in the body. Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption from the gut. Vitamin K2 ensures that absorbed calcium is directed to the right places (bones and teeth) and away from the wrong places (arteries and soft tissues). Using D3 without adequate K2 can raise calcium levels without proper guidance, which is why pairing them is considered best practice.

Good foods to focus on are eggs, fish, lentils, leafy greens, nuts and seeds, yogurt, fruits, and healthy fats like olive oil. If hair loss is ongoing or sudden, it’s important to check iron and vitamin D levels and manage stress, as deficiencies can cause shedding.
