I'm a metrics/numbers/analytics person but do not have a current elevator pitch... and I blame social. I keep tearing down and rebuilding my offers every time I go through a bout of bulk creating content and getting low response. It's a problem, I know. LOL. I am so ready to try different angles like bundles, blogs, email, and summits. Outside of this side hustle, I'm a wife of 29 years, mom to 3 college kiddos, and work full time at a major high-tech manufacturing corp.

I’ve been living in France for 9 years now - anyone from France? And during that time I built a big family here, raising 3 little kids and 1 big kid (my husband 😄). This is my second year building my own business, and while it’s definitely challenging, I genuinely love it. I work with language learners (Korean, English, and Chinese), and I also support women who live, work, or build across languages and cultures - especially those who’ve noticed how constant adaptation can slowly wear down their sense of self. I love writing and connecting with people through words. That’s actually how I first found Kylie and her Email Growth Club. Ever since, her coaching style has really resonated with me, especially the idea of building something sustainable without relying too heavily on social media. I’m constantly learning from her, and I guess that’s a big reason why I’m here too. I’m here to connect, learn, and hopefully also find collaboration opportunities because I truly believe that through teamwork, we can reach and support more people. I love meaningful conversations and helping where I can, so I’m really happy to be here.

I full-time RV with my husband John and our rescue maulti-poo, Maggie Mae. I am from Michigan and currently in Rockport, TX for a few months and it is beautiful. A bit chilly but no snow or ice. We have two adult children and 4 grands. January 29th was my 17th cancerversary celebration of rectal cancer. What keeps me grounded is my early morning reading, meditations, listening to educational/motivational/religious podcasts. (a work in progress on the last one) I am here because I love Kylie and the way she teaches. There are many different ways to do the same thing but if it doesn’t “feel” right to you, don’t do it. How freaking freeing!!! 👏💖 Plus, keep it simple. YES!! 😊 Business wise: I am the co-founder of Proactive Business Partners. Having been self-employed in multiple businesses, I help who we used to be. It is best described like this: On a plane, they tell you to put your own oxygen mask on first. In business, many owners put themselves last, even when they’re doing their best to take care of everyone else. Many small business owner’s, especially with teams, feel the weight of decisions that affect their family, business, and the people who rely on them. They are past the startup mode, and clarity matters more than speed now. That’s where I come in as their Navigator. I don’t sell and disappear. I stay with them as they build, protect, and grow, helping them make clear, confident decisions about the tools, support, resources, and benefits that fit their business—not someone else’s.

What kind of business you’re building: I own a web design & hosting company for family-owned businesses with my husband, Jeffrey. It's called Mom and Pop Web Stuff and we love working with family businesses like our own. Where you’re currently focusing your energy: I'm currently focusing my energy on building community with my clients through a monthly meetup and email marketing strategy to get my clients to refer to me or sign up for additional retainers. I'm also working on my side marketing strategy, a local networking group where I interview businesses and share their stories. One thing you’d love more clarity or momentum around: I'd love to have a support system outside of my immediate community! Intentional accountability and body doubling does a lot for me! I have been with my hubby for 20 years and we have a gorgeous baby girl who is 3 and a daily mirror for myself. This will make you laugh - for that last two years I was a social media manager VA 😅 I created a VA business in order to learn how to run a business because as a creative brain I struggled to do so with what I truly love doing - women’s empowerment boudoir photography.
