Avengers! ✌🏽😁 If you don't know, let me be the first to tell you... You don’t need perfect credit to start improving! 🗺️ You just need a plan and consistent action 🚀 Every strong credit profile started somewhere. The key is making steady progress. 3 steps to start today: 1️⃣ Check your credit reports. 2️⃣ Pay down one high balance. 3️⃣ Set up autopay to protect your payment history. Those three actions alone can start moving your profile forward. ❓ Question ❓ What’s the first step you’re taking this week to improve your credit? If you want help figuring out your next move, reach out to @John Pogue so you can get started today 💳

One Gone. Which Do You Pick?
If you could eliminate one debt first, which would it be? I vote Mortgage. This was easily my biggest expense when I was a home owner.

I picked student loans because up until I was about 27, that was the biggest drawback for me and I feel like, in that phase of your development throughout your 20s, it's a lot of additional stress that you don't necessarily need that negatively impacts you, on every level so, if I can help, I think it would be student debt!
What skill changed your trajectory the most?
Communication. Not just talking, but the ability to: • Explain ideas clearly • Tell stories people remember • Break complex problems into simple steps • Connect with people emotionally When you can communicate well, everything improves: Sales improve. Leadership improves. Marketing improves. Opportunities find you. Communication is the multiplier skill.

The Mortgage Seesaw
Imagine your mortgage like a seesaw at the playground. On one side sits Interest. On the other side sits Principal (the amount you actually borrowed). When your mortgage first begins, the interest side is much heavier. That means most of your monthly payment is going toward interest, not the house itself. Early in the loan, it can look something like this: 💰 $1,800 payment • $1,400 → Interest • $400 → Principal So even though you're making big payments every month, the balance barely moves at first. But here's the powerful part most people don't realize: Every extra dollar you put toward principal early in the loan dramatically reduces the total interest you'll pay over time. Think of it like jumping on the principal side of the seesaw early. The faster that side gets heavier, the faster interest loses its leverage. Small moves can make a big difference: • Adding one extra payment per year • Rounding your payment up to the next $100 • Sending extra money directly to the principal Those little pushes early can save tens of thousands in interest over the life of the loan. 💡 The lesson: You can't change the interest rate after the loan starts, but you can change how long interest gets to sit on the seesaw. Did you know your mortgage worked like this before today? And if you own a home: What strategy are you using to knock down your principal faster?
