Personally I’d throw a tube before a jig. It comes through cover better but lacks the better hookup ratio when rigged weedless. What do you prefer?

I finally got out on the water to fish a tournament over the weekend. My brother and I had a good day, considering we didn't get any practice time and I hadn't been on the water in almost two months. The tournament paid out 6 places and the weights were stacked. We got 7th and big bass with a 6.42 and 17.04 five fish total. 7th place got us a free $160 entry for the next event and $420 for big bass.
