I am wondering how many of y'all are familiar with role playing games (RPG) like dungeons and dragons. I'm working on a gamified approach to building foraging skills and am curious who's into that kinda thing. If you play or have played RPGs, let me know which ones in the comments 😁👍✨🎲

As we enter the darkest days of year AND the moon is waning, staying warm and cozy is is more than just a quaint tradition - it is how we humans have survived and thrived in adverse conditions. What is YOUR favorite way to stay cozy this time of year?? For me it's drinking a nice cup of something spicy and warm under the blankets with my cats! Today I make spicebush tea.

Last year, I tried cutting corners when saving wild seeds - I let them air dry and stored them in recycled glass jars...then...MOLD! All my seeds started growing a funky moId in the jar. Seeds that seem dry will sometimes have residual moisture AND if you live in a humid climate like I do, nothing ever gets REALLY dry. So this year, I'm storing my seeds in breathable paper envelopes WITH silica packets! My order of 100 silica packets just arrived....now, I'm off to forage 100 different kinds of seeds!...well maybe not quite that many. But I already have about 15 different kinds so we're off to a good start 😁👍🌱
