Steinhart is clearly a homage brand albeit a swiss made brand, with that out of the way the watch is so well put together, every detail is perfectly executed. If I had to look for faults, I would say the lume could be a bit better, it's not bad but it's not citizen promaster level and then I found that the bracelet screws were super tight. These last pics I took directly into the sun and was blown away with the AR coating, absolutely no glare on the crystal. So if you're looking for an affordable swiss made watch, Steinhart is definitely worth looking at.

@Warren Money here is a view of my sickness/addiction…ahem, collection. As you will see, it’s pretty wide ranging in styles and in price range. I almost missed a few while putting them in the boxes so the last 2 pictures are a mish-mash of styles.

Monterey Watch Company - EBC GMT

Hello gents, I had some trouble picking a watch for the day and wanted to check with you all to see if you think I made the right decision. The dilemma was based on working with the outfit I planned. The outfit was brown leather boots and belt Dark blue jeans Pale blue CT button up Olive RL quarter zip wool cable knit sweater Hat - gray tweed with green accent flat cap from Boston Scally Cap SOTD- Royal Chariot Attar (Dua clone of Layton from PDM) I ultimately went with the gold Timex on the brown strap. It was not only based on colors but also its thinner profile slides in and out of the cuff much better. With a sweater on top, the cuffs are a little more restrictive. The dial is a little more formal than the outfit demands but the other factors won out.
