AE Methodology feedback from those who have done it.
Has anyone here ever sold using M.E.D.D.I.C. Methidology during AE days? Whats your experience with it? Did it work and why?

Similar to @Corey Zehnder I use it to fill blind spots. Does it make me close 100% of my deals? No. Do I know a whole heap more than I did before I started using it? 110% YES!!! I just think it helps you paint a picture of what the organisation looks like behind the scenes that maybe you won't get access to? It's massively helpful. Feeling a lot more confident with presenting deals internally as accurately as possible.
Fun game: Guess the product of the cold caller
RULES: 1. Post a (funny) GIF that describes best the product you're selling without saying. 2. The others need to guess the product. 3. The 1st person who is right, is next to post a GIF (author must give feedback if someone is right or very close) and... 4. must also nominate another person who starts to post a GIF and nominates someone 5. Choose someone you know from the community or someone you're following and you would like to know more what the person is doing. PURPOSE: Have some little fun and get to know each other a bit better.

First thing you do when crafting your messaging?
SDRs who've changed companies multiple times โ€“ what was the first thing you did for crafting your specific messaging for cold calling? Did you focus on defining your ICP, the pain point you solve, or maybe something else? Maybe there's a framework someone knows about? Thanks!

PSL Clients
How do you adapt your openers when calling clients whom you are already on the PSL for? Obviously in this case you don't need to 'sell' as much, but curious what you all use in this situation.

@Aaron Barnett this is such an interesting question as we are about to move onto a few lists. Way I had it in my minds eye is something like My normal permission based opener, then we are on X list because Hospitality businesses have Y problem, is this something you can relate to? You've got credibility from being a preferred supplier, but they might not be (in my experience) clear on who's on that list for what reasons. It runs not far off the same, I just think you have a little more credibility
