Spurs. Lakers fan so can’t have Boston winning another. Not a fan of OKC and Spurs got them 4-1 this year.
How would you fix the problem of the ball rolling off the wrong fingers and messing up spin?
I’m trying 2-finger shooting and one hand shooting as a warmup but when the player starts shooting from farther out, they go back to their original form.

How old are they? If they aren't able to keep from from a certain distance it is likely they aren't strong enough or don't trust the new mechanics. I know players are eager to jump back to the three line but may have to practice patience in their range in order to keep correct form.

@Ethan Shigamora , I would. Otherwise you’re establishing bad habits that will be much harder to correct later. Just my opinion.
WWYD With a Head Coaching Opportunity
If you were named a head coach of a High School Team today… what are your action items/steps to becoming a .500+ program in year 1. Here are the circumstances: 1: public school - so no legal recruiting 2: program finished last in the league the year prior 3: not enough players to field a freshman team year prior 4: two elementary schools in the district - graduating classes of ~200-300 kids (3-5A classification school) Some things to keep in mind: hiring a staff, scheduling, fundraising, parents, players, summer workout plans, offensive and defensive structure

This convo is every timely. I have been an assistant varsity boys coach for our homeschool/hybrid school (2 days per week) the past 4 years and our head coach just retired. I have made the short list to be the replacement and should find out in a week or so. We play about 35 games per year with half of them vs homeschool and private christian schools and half vs public school teams. We are competitive and typically win about 40-50% of games vs public schools. This past year we had our worst season in years at 12-20. My sons are returning Jr and So. I am coaching a spring/summer team comprised entirely of returning varsity players. My boys utilize Danny Cooper's training and I will be implementing the training into the team's spring/summer practices. So far so good......🤞🤞
WHAT WOULD YOU DO ⁉️
You’re trying to scale your training business to 10k/month. A G League player reaches out to you to go train them for 2 months in the summer. You’ve never trained a pro before, so this is a great opportunity. The problem is, if you leave home, you have no consistent income and the business doesn’t grow. Would you:
