dithering and import
When I import a file into a DAW and the file was recorded as 96k and the DAW is set to 24bit 48k. Will this cause a degrade to the wave file? If I leave the file alone and import as 96k do I need to dither if I go to 24 - 48.K?

The phrase "Manbat, my old nemesis" has been used in social media posts as a humorous interaction involving a new coworker named "Wayne Bruce," playing on the similarity to Batman's secret identity, Bruce Wayne. From my Web Buddy,, or Buddy Web !!
How do you start writing or recording a new song?
Hi everyone. Sometimes it can be difficult to finish a song, so I wanted to ask how you usually start recording one. 1. Do you begin with a simple piano arrangement, record the best vocal takes you can, and then build the instrumental arrangement around them? 2. Do you write and arrange the entire song first, and only then record the vocals? 3. Do you start by recording the elements that matter most and define the vibe of the song, and then add other elements that give it color? What is your personal workflow?

I like to create a scratch tracks, Guitar, Vocals to a click track and then work out Drums, Bass. Then I use the drum and bass tracks to produce the song. This is due to I have already worked the arrangements out on the guitar.
