Full moon tonight — the Buck Moon
Tonight's full moon — the Buck Moon — is the release point of this whole lunar cycle, and I want you to actually use it, not just read about it. Comment the thing you're releasing tonight, in one sentence. Say it plainly. Let it be witnessed. If part of what you're releasing is the doubt about whether you're "ready" for this training — I want to gently push back on that word. Readiness isn't a feeling that arrives before you start. It's something that builds because you started. Every student I've ever trained felt some version of not-ready right up until the first live call. Ten days left in this enrollment window. If tonight's release makes room for a clearer yes, I'd love to hear it.

My old ways, the ways of living small. The moon has been a beautiful golden/amber color this cycle, unfortunately the reason for that color is the wild fires, doesn't detract from the beauty though.

@Ayla Nova To continue learning and growing in the healing arts, it is an honor and privilege to be allowed to hold space for others as they get what it is they need at any given moment. 💙
Full Moon in Aquarius — Time to start noticing
The full moon arrives this Wednesday, July 29, a point in the lunar cycle traditionally associated with clarity, completion, and release. As it approaches, I invite you to notice what has been taking up your time. How many hours disappear into scrolling, consuming, distracting yourself, or simply moving through the same routines without bringing you any closer to the life you want to live? This is not about judging how you rest. Rest is necessary. But there is a difference between what truly restores you and what keeps you disconnected from yourself. Perhaps the deeper question is: **“What is worthy of my time now?”** What could change if even one of those hours became an opportunity to understand your nervous system, learn how to regulate yourself, listen more deeply to your dreams, and reconnect with the purpose asking to move through you? What might become possible if you stopped giving so much of your life to distraction... and began giving it to what helps you feel fully alive? I have an invitation for you. **Peace in Rest | Nova Nidra Teacher Training** is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Yoga Nidra, restore your nervous system, and develop the capacity to guide others back into connection with themselves. If you feel the pull toward this path, you are invited to book a call with me. We can explore the training together, speak about where you are now, and discern whether this is the right time for you to step in. Let's hop on a call. LEARN MORE

@Ayla Nova Thank you kindly Ayla, the sound healing practice is beautiful and very satisfying :)
Tonight, before tomorrow's full moon
Tomorrow's full moon is the release point. Tonight is the quieter work — actually looking at what you named yesterday. If you haven't yet, go back to yesterday's post and finish your list. Then come back here and tell me one thing you're choosing to release. In somatic work, we talk about the difference between suppressing something and actually completing it in the body. Naming it out loud — even just typing it here — is part of that completion. It's not magic. It's just how the nervous system knows something has been witnessed instead of buried. Whatever you're releasing, you don't have to release it perfectly or all at once. Naming it is enough for tonight.

Releasing my old self and ways. I am so looking forward to this full moon, it has been a difficult few weeks lately. The moon and water is where I draw my energy from and I really need replenished.
What state of rest do you need most right now?
Not everyone needs the same kind of rest, and I think naming the specific kind helps clarify where I can support you on your Yoga Nidra journey.

Simply doing too much, but that is common here in mid-west where we try and fit in twelve months of warm goodness in the six months we have that are not below freezing. And my own fault for signing up for so much and having to constantly remind myself that I am no longer in my 20's or 30's...or even in my 40's or 50's any longer!
A peek inside the training modules
Let's get concrete for a minute... here's what's actually inside the training, module by module. [ Comment below ] with the module you're most drawn to. It tells me a lot about where you're at right now. Module 1: Orientation Understanding where you are in space and time. Really knowing where, when, and how to rest Module 2: Regulation Nervous system regulation, grounded in ancient wisdom and framed through the lens of modern science. Module 3: Integration Connecting with your own inner wisdom and seeing how everything comes together within yourself. Bonus: Dark Night (Shadow Work) A calm, steady approach to working with your shadows. Module 4: Teacher Training Taking everything you've learned [ including your own life experience ] and shaping it into yoga nidras you can share with the world: in studios, in private practice, on YouTube or Spotify, or as recordings for yourself, friends, and family. Here's the part people ask about most: this is two parts. Part 1 is the training itself. You can start today, move through the modules, and use everything you learn... whether that's for your own nervous system regulation, restoring peace in your life, or your own personal growth. Part 2 is becoming a certified teacher. That path is application-only. If you want to get there eventually, there's room... you just need to apply today. www.aylanova.com/peaceinrestprogam/teach Questions about any specific piece? Ask below.

I have been meditating for over 50 years, only recently become exposed to Yoga Nidra. It has become a favorite and I wish to learn more.
