Thanks for sharing that @Mick Messoline ! I too find myself so busy that Im not consistent with listing on my eBay and knocking down my deathpile. My current 9-5 and side business of junk removal & property cleanouts seem to keep me running around like chicken with head cut off 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ How do you stay on track consistently with eBay?

@Mick Messoline was thinking the same after typing my reply earlier. May start with 5 until it becomes supet easy and quick. That way it becomes daily routine and consistency
Welcome
Over the next week I will begin uploading tutorials on operating an eBay business. Check back often and be sure to ask lots of questions. Don’t forget to introduce yourself and let me know what you are looking to accomplish.

What are you planning to sell?
While this seems like it may be the easiest question to answer, it is essential to give it a lot of thought. Finding items that are readily accessible is key. Not every item will be a thousand dollar unicorn. There is an absolute learning curve that can be flattened a bit learning your niche before ever listing your first item. If you can find a market that peaks your interest, and has a good return of investment, it will be much easier to get moving in a positive direction.

My plan was to sell mens modern clothing, ballcaps, ties, shoes. However I have became a bit of an everything seller. Well I say that, yet I have such a large death pile that it takes up half my 30x30 shop.🤦‍♂️ I have a junk removal and property cleanout business. So I have began acquiring alot of books and some nick nacks

The guidance of an experienced reseller 👍 Ready to get to work
Common question
I’m frequently asked why, with the fees on eBay, do I continue to use them as my selling platform. I always answer the same way “show me another place with nearly 100 million active buyers daily and I’ll go there”. eBay is the dominant platform for sellers. Their selling fees are less than all other platforms with a better user to seller ratio. If you find your niche and want to be consistent, this is the place to sell. eBay has seller protection, payment processing and they handle your sales tax! If you are using other platforms you may have to pay sales tax to every state you ship too. So yes, there are fees. There is also a ton of upside to those selling fees that make your life as a seller multiple times easier.
