Last days of the community
Hey there. I decided to not renew the subscription of my Skool for now. So in few days, the Skool might get deleted. Thanks for the 5-6 people who actively participated. Thanks. The project still continue on the Tapas community and my account is still active. I'll recreate a Skool community one day. But I'll stop for now. Thanks

Thanks for all the time you put into creating the skool. Hopefully it will be an investment and a good practice run when it comes time to recreate a community in the future!
The new home to discover the adventure !
So, I finally settle down on Tapas. I've uploaded roughly the skeleton of 6 chapters. There is a lot to rework to have an interesting story. And the illustrations included to achieve the full experience. It is way better and easier to work on Tapas. The platform have been designed for such things which allowed me in an evening to draft posts 6 chapters. I'm reconsidered the idea of deleting the Skool. It'll depend if new people join and are excited to have a space to see the behind the scenes. Here is the official link for my profile : https://tapas.io/phecale And the link for the book to be released : https://tapas.io/series/Manden-Oath--16-Minutes/info You can create an account on Tapas, follow me, subscribe to the novel. And I'll let you know when updates are added. You won't see a lot cause it is still locked. Thanks, y'all

It works now. And I can see the first chapter.
This community will be deleted
Hey there. After few days of deep thinking, I think I'll delete the Skool community before the end of this month. It is a great platform but unfortunately, it is not for the project I created it for. I'm still thinking about a lot of things. I'll keep you noticed. Thanks.

Does skool have an option to "deactivate" but not completely delete the community?

@Phéçale Lafia makes sense. I more or less thought of discord because I'm always logged in if I'm on PC. But I don't know if discord is really a thing most people have up and running in the background. It is free though...and I know you already use it. Probably not a place for posting work but might be something for collecting collaborators or being reachable directly, to "hang out".

It's the Christmas Holiday here in the USA. So not a lot is happening right now. Usually a hard time to stay focused on personal projects.
Purpose as chain and engine
@Saikou Barry The purpose as a Constraint: “We are not here because we are free. We are here because we are not free. There is no escaping reason, no denying purpose because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exists.” 🤣 My man Smith is salty ! He was unplugged and he didn't like it too much.

@Saikou Barry I'd say that agent Smith is very much to blame. Although, since hes a program he probably isn't wired in the same way as a human. But he's sort of a dark alternate version of Neo. He rejects the rules, and the binary options of one way or another. But rather than try to create a new system, self-delete himself, or position himself as just a observer, his decision is to retain his purpose and defeat Neo, and pretty much break the whole cycle of In matrix/out of matrix into nothingness. So there's a choice as Agent Smith has free will at this point. He chooses to to follow his nature (For lack of a better word in artificial people) in removing problems, it just so happens the problems to him are literally everything now. Thats just my opinon tho!

@Saikou Barry I see! Its been a long time since I watched the movie. So yeah I suppose I wasn't thinking of that conversation, but obviously its pretty important! I had always read Agent Smith being "compelled" as something that was more his personal explanation of why he continued on his path. More like a instrument or tool built for a purpose will always need a target. But your most likely very correct, since the big theme of the film is not having free will. So I definitely see that he was compelled in a bigger sense of the word and in the story of the matrix so that the events that were to happen in the future could occur! Makes perfect sense!
