Morale necessity when you have hierachy
In Starship Troopers, society is simple: if you do your military service, even if it's against giant Arachnids, you become a Citizen. You gain the right to vote, to have children, etc. Otherwise? You remain a Civilian, without any real powers. It's a strange society, though, where throughout, people never questioned the reason for the attack on the Arachnids. Kinda similar to some armies we can find around the world where soldiers are asked to do questionable things and they don't reject the orders. I always found it fascinating in the least. Will you reject an order if they ask you to do something contrary to your values ?

@Malik Lafia Morality is made up
🌌 Master Obi-Wan's Lesson: When Truth Depends on Point of View!
"What I told you was true, from a certain point of view." 🧘 This is Obi-Wan Kenobi's iconic line to justify why he told Luke that Darth Vader had killed his father, even though Vader is his father. It's manipulation, yes, but it's also an incredible lesson in mindset! In life, this phrase reveals two essential things: Your Truth Is Not Universal: What is true for you (your experience, your fear, your way of doing business) is not necessarily true for others (your clients, your partners). Mindset Is Just an Angle: Being able to change your perspective is the first step to success. If your strategy isn't working, it might be because you haven't yet found the angle (the perspective) that will make it true and effective. The Jedi call this flexibility. So, what perspective is holding you back right now?

@Malik Lafia Correct...
Imagine it’s a year from now and you are watching a CGI movie from Manden Oath Universe.
As well as being a illustrator, I'm a huge fan of movies. And as I am developping this world, I was wondering if you guys will be interested in seeing the behind the scene of a movie from Manden Oath, if I happen to work on one. I have been inspired by this movie NIMROD, you're seeing down there. I'm curious to hear your thoughts about that idea.

@Carmel Raff What is brewing in those comments that's being plotted on me?
Purpose as chain and engine
@Saikou Barry The purpose as a Constraint: “We are not here because we are free. We are here because we are not free. There is no escaping reason, no denying purpose because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exists.” 🤣 My man Smith is salty ! He was unplugged and he didn't like it too much.

@Carmel Raff You don't seem to understand the word "COMPELLED"... fighting is infact all he did; but it only made him remain more in the prison
Sci-Fi Comics
On todays stream @Phéçale Lafia Asked to drop some favorite sci-fi comics. And that got me thinking and going through my collection. So here are some of mine: Prophet: https://www.zipcomic.com/prophet-issue-21 It actually starts with issue #21. This might be one of my absolute favorites. The art style isn't for everyone though. Its drawn by a few different people for the different stories that take place in the universe. You can read the whole thing here. If you can get over the sort of weird grungy art style you get rewarded, with just how creative and strange every issue is. There's literally no part of of the universe that's not strange and alien. Saga: https://imagecomics.com/read/saga Saga is very very good. Its very character driven and the characters are diverse, sort of strange but everybody has a lot of heart. Its not at all hard sci-fi and its probably about 50% fantasy. Its got great art and dialogue. Its got a lot of mature themes in it, so be ready for some nudity. Its hard to exactly explain saga because on paper it sounds pretty silly. But I'd recommend giving it a read. Its the type of comic book that makes you want to cry when your favorite character dies. And some of them do :( Low: https://imagecomics.com/read/low Low might be one of the prettiest sci-fi comics with the sheer flow in Greg Tocchins linework really being the star. Like every issue there will be multiple pages that are literally frameable. I enjoy that anytime he draws a machine its literally all abstract curves. Its a interesting universe too, humans live underwater and the sun is dying. So all the flowy aquatic life works really well with his style. The covers on this whole series are just phenomenal too. I'd recommend googling them. Nudity warning in this comic too, Greg likes drawing his ladies. (But theres not that much of it).

@Phéçale Lafia You are again running away from the question... we both know your history with Naruto back in the days.
