Is it me, or is the market just choppy?
I'm still new to this technique, and this week has been tough. The MES blew through two of the zones that I had on my chart. I had another order in MCL to have exposure to something that would move differently than the MES but I lost the trade there as well. Did anyone else get stopped out twice in the MES this morning? Did I draw the zones correctly? Is this normal or is the market more choppy than normal? I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you. I saw the announcement about Iran after the fact. I was within a few ticks of a win for my first trade, in hindsight I should have pullled out then I guess. I will put that site in my favorites and probably will wait until tomorrow to do another trade.

Wow! Thankfully, I haven't started my eval yet. This morning I was using a paper account. Thanks for the warning.🙂
I'm a slow learner
I have to laugh at myself sometimes. I knew where I SHOULD enter today and I knew the direction but I got impatient twice! Do you ever know what you need to do, but still can't resist the urge to catch a small swing? Anyway, I finally left an alert like I was supposed to and got in at the right price. The only thing I would change is that I should have stayed in longer to get my full target @5278 but I came out early to avoid hitting my trailing stop. I guess it worked because the price did hit the stop before going back down. Do you guys set a stop and leave it or do you use trailing stops?

My why is my family. The only way for me to make money is my CDL. My wife is a QA software engineer and that has given me the time to devote to learning how to trade. I hope to never return to the road and make trading my full-time career so I can be with my family instead of being away for weeks at a time.
Hi guys,
I’ve traded before but mostly I’m just guessing and more like betting on something hoping that it goes up but really don’t know what I’m doing! So as a result I lost all that money not that much maybe couple of thousand dollars but really need guidance and hoping to get out of debts and be able to help my family and improve my life not to worry about money and be financially free and not be stuck with a retail job!

You've taken a great first step. I've been trading for a while and have even seen some of these concepts before but I don't think you'll find anybody who explains them in such easy-to-understand terms. You're in the right place.
Finished Step 2
I'm starting to feel hopeful. The courses have been great but it has been nice to read some of the comments here. Working from home can feel lonely so it helps to be in a community of folks who are on the same path.
