YouTube isn't a social media platform anymore.
Nielsen confirmed it. YouTube is now the #1 media distributor in the US — ahead of Disney, Netflix, broadcast TV, and cable combined. And here's the part most coaches haven't processed yet: Over 45% of YouTube watch time in the US now happens on a television screen. Not a phone. Not a laptop. A living-room TV. Which means right now, somewhere, a prospect who fits your ideal client profile is leaning back on their sofa, watching a 15-minute video on a 55-inch screen - and deciding who the authority in your niche is. The question is whether that video is yours. When someone watches you on their TV, the same trust signals that made television advertising worth billions for 70 years transfer directly to you. You stop being a coach with a YouTube channel. You become a broadcast presence. The psychological effect on how warm they arrive at a discovery call is not the same as a 60-second scroll on Instagram. But most coaches are still producing content sized for a phone screen, paced for a social feed — for a platform they think their ideal client isn't on. The data says otherwise. Here's something worth having if you're speaking at events, networking, or meeting prospects in person. My good friend Claudio Campobassi from Skool Founders Lab just built a free Skool QR Code Generator - it turns your community URL into a QR code or custom smartphone wallpaper so you can share your community without spelling out a URL. Worth noting: YouTube now officially endorses QR codes as CTAs for TV viewers, because clicking a description link with a remote is impossible. The offline-to-online bridge just became a broadcast strategy, not just a networking trick. Worth 2 minutes to try: https://claudiocampobassi.com/skoolqrcode
