Your Inner ROI Audit: The 5 “R’s” in Practice
Hey my Live Oaker Friends! Quick note before this week's challenge exercise. I wanted to thank you all again for hanging in there with us as we have been behind the scenes building some classes and courses and prepping for live events etc - and its taken us a bit longer than expected. We appreciate that you are HERE! Keep an eye out for more regularly scheduled calls and a special giveaway coming up too! MY INVITATION TO YOU: 1. Read this week’s blog, The Five “R’s” to Owning Your Wealth Brilliance. CLICK HERE: https://tinyurl.com/2rnxrrfe 2. Choose one “R” that feels most relevant to you right now. 3. Journal or share: What’s your hidden algorithm or repeating pattern? 4. How does your nervous system react when you receive? 5.  What small ritual could help you rewire safety around abundance? SHARE IN THE COMMENTS: A photo or note of your “receiving ritual” this week. Let’s normalize receiving, not just giving.

Ang, thanks for this. I've got it bookmarked and I think I need to come back to it regularly. I've been struggling with this forever. So many business coaches ask you to identify your 'money story,' but reciting the old wound over and over doesn't help. What I've been working on lately is noticing when I disconnect from my power out of fear, and taking a moment to consciously re-ground. This month I spent more than my development budget on hiring an SEO team, because they showed me that all the work I'm doing is basically invisible on Google. It was a terrifying decision, but my executive brain informed me that I couldn't afford NOT to do it. I met with them this morning and they're so lovely--competent, thorough, and transparently interested in supporting my success--that I want to keep them forever. My receiving practice is to appreciate the work they're doing. My redeploying practice is to get my own workspace organized, and tackle all the jobs I need to get done while they're handling the website, including going over their documents and giving feedback. I can feel my energy toggling between 'executive' and 'overstretched solopreneur,' and I'm practicing spending more time in the 'executive' energy. I know this is long, but something in me couldn't rest until I'd typed it out. Thanks.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸’𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗜𝗻
We live in a world that rewards visibility and speed. But true leadership isn’t about how quickly you launch or how loudly you speak—it’s about how deeply you live your values. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. 𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻: Where in your leadership, business, or message are you fully congruent—words, energy, and embodiment aligned? And where might there be a quiet disconnect between what you’re sharing and what you’re truly ready to hold? 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: • Is there an offering, service, or message you’ve been pushing forward that needs more space or inner integration? • Where are you holding back because of fear… and where might you actually be honoring your integrity by waiting? • What part of your leadership feels most rooted right now? What part feels like it’s still catching up to your truth? ________________________________________ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Name one place in your work or life where you’ve chosen integrity over speed—where you walked your talk, even when it meant slowing down, standing still, or shifting timelines. Post it in the group so we can witness and celebrate the version of you that chose alignment, not urgency. Remember, flowers (and Oak Trees) grow better together! Being engaged in the group holds us all accountable AND can support each other when we feel “stuck”.

Hey folks! I'm excited to share that my 'integrity project--my book--is almost ready to launch. It's taken me twice as long as planned, but it is important that it represents my mission as engagingly and authentically as possible. It took so long because I had help from three editors and two rounds of beta readers, in spite of the fact that I have been writing for decades and am very confident in my abilities. Years of blogging without editorial oversight garnered me a small base of die-hard fans. Now I want to reach a much wider audience, and I needed help--not to eliminate my quirks, but to make them relatable. When I read through it now, I feel it in my bones that it's good. That's EVERYTHING.
Hey My Living Oak’ers — can I ask you something?
How’s your head and your heart after this weekend? I’ve been a little quiet this past week—but for the best possible reason. I took my own medicine to hit “pause” to realign, reset, and reconnect with the deeper "why" behind everything we’re building here. Living Oak Leadership is a living breathing ecosystem. And every so often, I need to step back and make sure I’m not just teaching the work—but living it. Embodying it. Creating FROM it. The past week has been full of that fire—strategic planning with my team, deep conversations with fully aligned experts (you’ll meet them soon 😉), and major inspirational downloads from my higher self about how to serve YOU better. We’ve been mapping out new tools, new courses, partnerships, podcasts, events, and experiences that I know will help you spiral upward—more deeply, more consciously, and more supported. But before we start to roll out more of the new goodies... 💬 We want to hear from YOU. What’s on your mind right now? What’s weighing on your heart? What kind of support, space, or reflection would feel most nourishing for you this coming week and in the group? Drop us a line the Community comments. I read every word. And just as importantly—respond to each other. This is your space, your circle, your leadership watering hole. And if you haven’t already, take a few intentional minutes with the 10-Day Reset + Reboot in the CLASSROOM tab. It’s not fluff—it’s a powerful measurement & re-alignment tool to give you a clear picture where you are starting from so you can track where you are going! Big love to each of you. I can’t wait to share what’s coming. —Ang 🌳

Tomorrow I'm headed to DC for the 50th anniversary of the National Association of Women Business Owners. We lobby our representatives for policy that supports women business owners. With the state of the current administration, we are seeing a backlash against the progress we have fought for over the last half-century. As a highly sensitive introvert, five days of travel, interacting with crowds, meeting strangers, and fighting for women's rights in hostile territory can be exhausting for me. At the same time I'm working on developing new partnerships in my business, preparing for some higher-profile speaking engagements than I've done in the past, and finishing the final details of my book in preparation for launching it this September. I'm doing all of this on a financial shoestring. So although I'm proud and excited to have come this far, it's a LOT. I'm prioritizing exercise and meditation, planning lots of breaks in my schedule, and skipping events that I know will drain me more than they benefit me.
