Hello my Live Oakers, (This is a long one - so bare with me!) Over the past few weeks we’ve been moving through some powerful themes in here in SKOOL, Linkedin and Substack. Themes such as: 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. These topics and the resulting conversations are the heartbeat of why we created Living Oak Leadership. Today, I want to take this even deeper… with you all. Because its not just about me talking “at” everyone, the vision is for this Community to be a true “Watering Hole” to gather and uplevel together! 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘄? I’m sending out a short poll (below) with this post because I want to know, in this exact season of your life & career what feels most alive for you. • Where are you craving the most support in your self-leadership? • What feels sticky, confusing, or stagnant in your career, business, or work? • What would feel most clarifying, grounding, or empowering right now? We’re already hearing many themes across current our other coaching engagements…. navigating transitions, rising into your voice, managing emotional energy, reclaiming confidence, and elevating your leadership identity. But I want to make sure our next wave of content reflects what you are needing in this 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, not just in theory. Your input directly shapes where we go next. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗻 Behind the scenes, (and in addition to other new offerings in SKOOL) we’ve been quietly recording the first wave of videos for a brand-new YouTube channel focused entirely on 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 for: • High-potential leaders • Professional and executive women • Seasoned leaders in transition • Anyone feeling stuck, unsure, or ready for their next level This channel is designed to help leaders get unstuck, gain clarity, and elevate into the most aligned and powerful version of themselves, the version they know is inside but haven’t fully accessed yet.

This week we have been talking about all the push to “become” something vs allowing ourselves to “be” and elevate from there. So… for this week’s challenge, I invite us all to ask ourselves: Where in your life are you confusing self-improvement with self-worth? 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This upcoming week take 5 minutes each day to simply notice where you feel the urge to “fix” yourself… then pause. 1. Choose one area of your life: work, relationships, health, or creativity etc, anywhere you tend to chase improvement. 2. Instead of asking, “What needs do I need to change? Ask, “What do I need to just witness?” 3. For extra personal points: Journal on this question…“What part of me is already whole here?” 4. At the end of this next week, share one insight in the community: “What shifted when you stopped trying to become and allowed yourself to simply be?” 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: Growth doesn’t prove your worth; it expresses it. By practicing presence over performance, you’ll start to feel what real efficiency and authentic Self-Leadership look like: growth that comes from wholeness, not self-critique. Somewhere along the way, many of us began treating evolution as a performance review, a constant audit of how far we still have to go. But what if growth isn’t about becoming better, but about being our unique and valuable self. I am excited to hear what appears for you all!
