💪 Monday Motivation
Consistency isn't about getting it perfect. It's about not quitting after one off day. What does "showing up" look like for you today/this week?

Today I am looking after 2-year old and 8-month old. I wasn’t meant to be, my daughter is ill. So for me showing up is not stress eating!

@Renee Jones thank you! Good so far, easier because there’s left over barbecue meat and salad in the fridge.

So today I didn’t quite stick to my plan of one plate of food, I had one and a half. But no bread, pasta or potatoes or crisps, and I even passed on the salmon en croute which is a favourite of mine. I had berries and cream but did add a sliver of homemade lemon cheesecake, which my friend brought and he is the king of puddings 👑 so it was a decision I made to have some. So overall not perfect but much better than usual.

@Jackie Fletcher yes I am thank you, I didn’t feel stuffed and uncomfortable and I enjoyed everything I ate.
Before the Week Starts
Sunday's a good day to plan, not panic. One thing you're doing today/tonight to make Monday easier? 👇

I shall be popping to my daughter’s to pick up some leftover barbecue meat and salad.
Have you lost interest in food?
I've been reflecting on a feeling - a bit hummphhhh - that I have lost interest in food and/or eating. I don't know if it's because I'm busy [but then again, we are all busy with our lives], stressed, tired and definitely in need of a holiday. Recently, I've changed back from ADF (alternate day fasting) and cooking every day. While, I love cooking but daily cooking is a chore! ADF is so convenient - no mess, no fuss, and no dishes. I have good habits, I love cooking with my Thermomix, so have tried many new recipes and meal planning makes the cognitive load easier. Interested to hear your thoughts.

@Nicola Wright I remember planning meals and cooking to be a chore when my three were little, before my husband started to enjoy cooking as they grew up. Much easier when you’re pleasing yourself!
