Sunday shift sounds like a great idea. I have a tendency for all or nothing mentality so setting goals for good,better, best week is a great idea for me to prevent spiraling and giving up altogether.

This was so good. Delegating (at home and work) is so hard for me. I’m very Type A and to trust someone else will do it properly is really difficult for me. My biggest “aha” is that there is so much mentally I am caring that I don’t even think my husband is aware of. I’m the default parent (human and fur babies!) and it’s exhausting always being “on.”

My sleep would be about a 4 on the restorative scale. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea a few years ago and my CPAP has been amazing. Such a game changer. BUT I drink wayyyy too much caffeine so I need to work on that.

These aren't glamorous topics. But they are sneaky ones. Because when these are off, no habit, no meal plan, and no morning routine is going to carry you. You can't out-action a deficiency or a missed clue. Here's something I share with patients all the time: I once delayed my own bloodwork for six months because I thought I already knew why I was tired (hello, small kids, no sleep). Turns out my iron was the worst it had ever been. Correcting it didn't make me feel like a superhero but it made me functional again. And checking iron is less straightforward in bodies with inflammation from PCOS or other (details in the video). Today's homework: dig out any old lab work you have. This is such good info! One of the barriers I’ve seen is PCOS not being taken seriously and the lab work not being ordered. I finally have a doctor who is really collaborative and it makes a huge difference!! I’m going in April for my bloodwork. I feel like my Vitamin D is ALWAYS low. Even with supplements.
