These aren't glamorous topics. But they are sneaky ones. Because when these are off, no habit, no meal plan, and no morning routine is going to carry you. You can't out-action a deficiency or a missed clue. Here's something I share with patients all the time: I once delayed my own bloodwork for six months because I thought I already knew why I was tired (hello, small kids, no sleep). Turns out my iron was the worst it had ever been. Correcting it didn't make me feel like a superhero but it made me functional again. And checking iron is less straightforward in bodies with inflammation from PCOS or other (details in the video). Today's homework: dig out any old lab work you have.
