I want to show you a secret in scripture: “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Do you notice that Jesus was tempted of the devil for 40 days and he also did not eat for 40 days? Fasting and His temptation did not have to be at the same time… He could have just fasted 40 days and then been tempted later or vice versa… but I believe God showed us a secret… When the season of testing comes it’s connected to your next level of promotion… sometimes it might be wise to fast in your wilderness season. Remember there is a death, burial and resurrection season. You can also call the burial season the wilderness or going through the fire but no matter what the name… I believe that even before it starts God can reveal it and suggest you go on a fast. As we approach this New Year, prepare yourself for promotion by making sure you overcome and pass every test. If Jesus fasted during his time of testing… it might be wise for us to follow that pattern as the Lord leads.

Negative things that happen in life are “areas of opportunity “ for you to grow. Rejoice when diverse trails and temptations come, these are opportunities for growth. Many times we look at negative circumstances and play the blame game, but it’s when we understand that we are not victims of life but creators. That annoying family member, jealous co-worker, unfair leader,,, they all have one thing in common. They are activating feelings and emotions in you that were unseen. You can only deal with your internal issues when you can discern that they are there. The next time something rubs you the wrong way or raises intense emotions… PAUSE and realize this had more to do with you than it has to do with them. It’s about to be a NEW YEAR… let’s not repeat last year again. Pass the tests.

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:10-11 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 states that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Reconciliation can be defined as “the process of two alienated parties coming to peace with one another”. As sinners we were literally enemies of Jesus Christ, separated from His love, held captive by the law, and at war with our flesh. Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross are the two components to receive true peace. “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.” Ephesians 2:14-16 As followers of Christ we carry the ministry of reconciliation. As carriers of this ministry we offer an indescribable gift, the grace and salvation offered through Jesus Christ. Let us be faithful ambassadors of this peace offering. The world is in a desperate state of chaos. Thank you, Jesus for entrusting us to carry You, as your lights piercing the darkness, comforting the hurting, sharing the Gospel of Peace! Let us go out courageously and boldly as your ministers of righteousness. We love you.

We are having a conference here in Belo Horizonte Brazil February 26th - 28th. The week before we will be doing evangelism on the street all the way up until the end of the conference. We need evangelist. I also have some powerful evangelist coming from different parts of Brazil to hit the streets. Everything starts February 18th and ends February 28th.
