ISBN confusion.
I have a question regarding ISBN numbers, I bought ten and assigned one to the paper back on KDP then I uploaded to Ingram Spark thinking I needed to use a new one which I did for the same format. Now I am reading that is incorrect, and I should now unpublish on KDP and re upload my book using the same ISBN I assigned to the paperback on Ingram Spark, is that correct info? Also if I re upload my book to KDP using the same ISBN as IS do I mark it as a second edition? Thanks any insight would be appreciated.

Great thanks for the info, I will try and make the change so they have the same. Just means I wasted one but hey ho you live and learn!

Proof Reader
Good afternoon fellow writers/authors, I need a little advice. I am wondering how much can I expect to pay for a proof reader? To have a collection of 30 comic limericks, approximately 2,000-2,500 words. There is so much info on the internet and it really varies, so perhaps some of you have personal experiences you would be kind enough to share. Thank you.

@Reeses Witherspoon Hi and thanks for your comments. I am really enjoying writing relatable rhyme for women, rhyming for children I find a little more difficult as you have to be a little more selective with your words, but it’s still loads of fun. This week I have been trying limericks for women with themes such as the struggles with diet, exercise and inflation! What genre do you write?

@Reeses Witherspoon I have published three children’s books so far, Reach For The Stars, It’s Cool To Be Kind and Mischief Farm. Currently I am working on a poetry book and I a book of limericks both about everyday life. One titled The Little Book of Poems - Laugh, Wince and Nod Along & We’re Gonna Need Wine! What is your children’s book about? I do love a good romance novel and I read many.

Marketing is the hardest part I find, especially if you don’t have a large social media following and are not that willing to put yourself on camera! (That would be me, not fond of putting myself out there on video)
