Opportunity for Spanish speakers wishing to improve their English.
Hello, everyone! 👋 I’d like to tell you about my community here on Skool: Conversations in English. 💬 What is Conversations in English? It’s an online community for Spanish speakers with a B1 level or above who understand English but find it difficult to speak naturally and confidently. Through weekly live classes, real conversations, pronunciation training and personalised feedback, you’ll be able to: 🗣️ Improve your fluency and pronunciation 💬 Learn useful, natural expressions 💪 Overcome speaking anxiety 🔤 Learn to interpret the symbols of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) 👄 Learn how to produce English sounds correctly 📚 Become a more independent English learner I’m a native English teacher with six years of experience teaching Spanish speakers in England and Spain. As I’m also learning Spanish, I understand how frustrating it can be when you know what you want to say but can’t find the words. Whether you need English for your career, travelling, living abroad or having everyday conversations, this community will help you speak more clearly, confidently and with less fear. 📅 This week’s classes Monday 31st August: 💬 Conversation Class On Thursday 3rd September: 🗣️ Pronunciation Practice 🕕 6:00–7:00 p.m. (Madrid time) 📰 This Week’s News 🕖 7:00–8:00 p.m. (Madrid time) 👉 Stop letting the language barrier hold you back. Join us and start speaking!

Your event isn't just a class
I've got 20 calls booked over the next two weeks All of them came off the back of events and posts in my communities. That's not a brag. It's the point. We all turn up to teach, and we should. Teaching is why people came. Right!? But the event is also doing a job for your business, and that job is getting the right people onto a call with you. If you finish your presentation, say thanks for coming and log off, you've run a free class. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't confuse it with growth. So put the ask in. One line, near the end, after you've given people something genuinely useful. "If you want help applying this in your own community/life, here's my calendar." That's it. No pitch. No pressure. Most people just need permission to take the next step. And if you've run events this month and not one call came out of them, that's worth sitting with. Nine times out of ten, it isn't the content. It's that nobody was told what to do next. Look back at your last event. Where was the ask? New to Skool Events Daily? Don't forget to attend our welcome call

Good point. Thank you. I offer English classes to Spanish speakers and whilst I need to get more members and get them active, this is definitely something i need to think about going forward. In fact, I could include this is the short videos and written exercises that I already offer.
Did You Spot This One ?
Did you spot this event that @Des Dreckett is doing this week? It’s all around why you should be using events to grow your Skool community, but not just inside your own space. He’s also talking about why it’s a smart move to create events and share them inside other communities too, and how that can help you grow both members and clients at the same time. It’s one of those things most people don’t think about, but it actually makes a big difference when you start doing it. Worth marking in your calendar for this one. Have a pen and paper ready as well because Des always drops some pearls of wisdom in these sessions. 18th June 8pm–9pm London | 3pm–4pm New York | 12pm–1pm Los Angeles Join here: https://meet.google.com/xsf-hcke-zrcSkool Classifieds: https://www.skool.com/classifieds/about?ref=c75adaa832e449d8b1ef463c22b1d8a9

@Iris Barratt Same here. I'd also love to know if this is going to be recorded,as it's going to be quite late where I am.
