Need a bit of help...
I'm working hard to get a game app launched, but I need 12 testers. Anyone keen to help out? I'll need your email address so I can add you as a tester, and then you need to download the app.

It’s officially live! Meet LekkerVenues 🚀
Hey everyone! I’ve been refining this behind the scenes for a few weeks, but I’ve finally hit the big "send" button on emails to venue owners this week. It’s time to share it with this community! The Concept: lekkervenues.co.za is a curated directory for premier event spaces. Whether it’s a corporate function or a milestone birthday, the goal is to make finding the right spot effortless. We’ve been very intentional with the listings—only including restaurants that offer dedicated private dining or full hire. I’d love your help with a "stress test": 1. Take a look around: Use the site as if you’re planning your next big party. 2. Send a query: If a venue catches your eye, try the inquiry system! (Remember, this is live and will go directly to the venue!) 3. The "Legitimacy" Factor: I’m just starting the social media engines. Following the pages (even before the first post!) helps us look the part as we grow. Facebook or Instagram If you spot any errors or have ideas on how to make the UX even smoother, please let me know via the site or in the comments below. Hope you all have a blessed day!
Most people label something as “hard” the moment it feels uncomfortable….
A new role. A new responsibility. A new level of expectation. But what we often call difficult is simply unfamiliar. And unfamiliar always feels overwhelming at first. Think about anything you’re now confident in. There was a time it felt confusing, frustrating, even intimidating. The only difference between then and now is exposure and repetition. You stayed long enough for it to make sense. The danger is not that something is hard. The danger is deciding too early that it is not for you. Growth requires you to sit in that uncomfortable phase where nothing feels natural yet. So the next time you feel like stepping back, remind yourself: this is not a limitation, it is a learning curve. Stay with it long enough, and what once felt impossible will eventually feel normal.

Technology has made things so easy, very few people know what it is like to really struggle with something. We need to work through the hard, embrace it.
“I’ll start when things are better”?
When I have more time. When I feel more ready. When everything finally makes sense. It sounds reasonable in the moment. But the truth is, waiting for perfect conditions often becomes a habit. And before we know it, we’ve spent more time preparing than actually starting. If our progress depends on everything being perfect, we will always find a reason not to begin. Because life is rarely perfect. There will always be something missing. More time. More confidence. More clarity. But the people who move forward are not the ones who had everything figured out. They are the ones who started anyway. They built in the middle of uncertainty. They learned while moving. They figured it out as they went. So maybe the question is not “Am I ready?” Maybe it’s this: Am I willing to start… even like this?

Best way to learn it is to do it. Now is the time to start.
