Historical romance - clean (set during the largest wildfire in US history) She's racing the flames and praying for rain. The doctor can save her life...but only she can save her future. When the firestorm burns the future you never wanted...you learn to love the embers. When the wrong choice today leads to the right choice tomorrow.

My genre is historical romance.
Mindset
Where do you need the most help? What do you think you can do to help yourself get over these hurdles in gentle ways and with baby steps? Make helpful suggestions to others that are positive, like a warm hug on a cold day!

My biggest hurdle is myself and words from others that live in my head. I am a slow learner needing bite sized info with breaks to process. In the past this led to others making comments alluding to inabilities and lack of intelligence. That's not the case I know, but the words still echo in my mind which then makes my Capricorn butt want to plow ahead to prove them wrong leading to mistakes and frustration because I skip important bits to get to the end result. First round of ads was disastrous. Trying again once I feel confident in the process.
