Day 4 – Let’s Talk About… How You Talk to You
Today is about becoming radically aware of how you speak to yourself. That little voice in your head? It's either fueling your growth or keeping you stuck. Are you cheering yourself on—or tearing yourself down? One of my clients had a realization that she shared with us, she said "no one could ever talk to me as bad as I talk to myself". This is why is is so important that we start noticing the patterns: - Do you say things like “I always mess this up” or “I’ll never figure this out”? - Or are you saying, “I’m doing my best,” “I’m learning,” “I’ve got this”? - Do you call yourself "stupid", "fat", "old" (you get the idea). - Or, do you say to yourself, "I am beautiful, I am intelligent, I am confident and wise"? The truth is, your self-talk shapes your identity. And your identity determines what you believe you can have, do, or be. So today, ask yourself: 👉 What am I saying to myself—about myself—on repeat? 👉 Would I speak this way to someone I love? 👉 What new story do I want to start telling? You’re the only one who lives with your thoughts 24/7. Make sure they’re good company. What are you noticing about your inner dialogue today?
