Guarding Your Mouth—A Healing Superpower
So, have you ever caught yourself saying something in the heat of the moment—only to feel the sting of regret right after? My hands are raised high! And I’ve learned that healing isn’t just about what we do—it’s also about what we say. Our words carry weight. They shape our atmosphere, influence our children, and reflect the condition of our hearts. Now that I am a mother of a toddler who picks up everything, I am very careful how I express myself and what words I use to do it. Guarding your mouth doesn’t mean silencing your pain.It means choosing words that align with your healing—not your hurt. Here’s how you can start today: Pause before you speak. Ask: “Is this coming from a place of peace or pain?” Speak life over yourself. Try: “I am healing. I am whole. I am walking in grace.” Pray before you respond. Let God filter your emotions through His wisdom. The Bible says, “The tongue has the power of life and death…” — Proverbs 18:21Let’s choose life, even in the hardest moments. What’s one phrase you’ve stopped saying because it no longer serves your healing? Drop it in the comments and let’s encourage each other! #ResilientMompreneur #FaithHealing #SoloMomStrong #GuardYourMouth #SpeakLife
