Latest Epstein files release
Hey everyone I logged into my X account earlier and my feed is just full of these latest file dumps and there are some shocking and horrific things in it. It seems like power structures across the entire planet, from the very top echelons right down even to local councils are infested by people who are utterly depraved. The initial shock of seeing some of these awful files has me questioning how we can live normal, good and honest lives when we are surrounded by all this evil. Then it occurred to me that I pray almost daily for discernment and now it makes me wonder, are these latest files deliberately dropped now for some reason? Why now and not months ago? Are they to distract us from something else going on? It's such a confusing time where I am questioning everything and trusting in very little. Has anyone else been diving into this latest scandal? What's your thoughts on it?

@Ali Paterson It's really something to ponder on isn't it? Humans are driven by a whole range of emotions, some good, many bad. We have no idea what would drive AI if it became self aware. One thing is for sure, with the release of all these files and the realisation of how much evil there is in the world, it sure does feel like the 'elites' are doing everything in their power to usher in the anti-christ. Surely they must know it doesn't end well for them?

@MKUehn Billhole Co-ordinated reporting of this in media across different countries too. It really does highlight how the same cabal control everything. It's such a blatant attempt attempt to shift focus away from who he was really aligned with. They really do take us for idiots.
A truly beautiful night
Hi everyone I thought I would upload these photos of the Northern Lights taken by my friend the other night, she lives about 30 mins from me. I had never seen them before because of the light pollution where I live but even with the light pollution, it was so vivid even I could see it. I stood in my back garden in the freezing cold and watched them for ages. In a previous post I asked how God speaks to you and I realised the other night that nature is when I feel him, he doesn't speak to me as such but I feel him and that is good enough for me. I thank him every day for the environment he has created for us. He is the ultimate artist.

@MKUehn Billhole How lovely. We have a very small astronomy club where I live with the odd viewing night which usually doesn't go ahead due to cloud cover. Typical for Scotland :) These lights were visible in parts of Europe which is unheard of as far as I know and the red lights are very rare. A weak magnetic field and major sun spot activity is what kicked them off so vividly, if those conditions worsen you may see them yet! The night sky is a wonder.

@MKUehn Billhole Wish I'd seen your post before now! I doubt we would have seen anything here that night though as we've had cloud cover all week. I just checked the link you posted and there is potentially another big flare today but we have total cloud cover again. To your point about TPTB keeping us in the dark, it becomes more apparent every day just how successfully 'the few' have managed to deceive 'the many'. For example what we are taught about history, but more to the point what we are not taught and what is kept hidden. I'm down a rabbit hole this weekend on this subject.
What do i do Today?
Was watching an interview of Bassem Youssef on Candace, i cued the video for 2 minutes of your time to point out "nothing will change" i reflected on my activities, and believe i've switched my focus away from 'cursing the darkness' to trying to touch the lives of those closest to me. While i don't believe 'true' altruism exists, i've seen how a little attention spent in ministering (in my own unique and imperfect way) helps my general attitude and outlook. i feel no compulsion to explain or document online what i do from day to day, but i trust if i am properly focused, it is God working through me. the video segment maybe nihilistic, but should encourage you to make your small part of the world just better. the entire point is "what's MY responsibility?" in perspective. yes, i look for these things, because the oppression is real.

I agree with you. It costs nothing to be nice to people and a kind word/gesture or having a laugh with someone, be it a customer/cashier/server can brighten both your days and good moods are infectious. We can't change the world sadly but collectively, small kind gestures make a big difference.

@MKUehn Billhole When I was a non believer I just thought religion made no sense because each one thinks they are right and everyone else isn’t. They can't all be right. We do seem to be hard wired to worship something greater than ourselves though - humans have always had gods/idols. I think there is something in us that knows we are part of something bigger but unfortunately it gets distorted/interpreted in the wrong way with some religions. Right now self worship is now a thing! Social media plays a large part in that. Part of my coming to Christianity is the realisation that societies function better when Christianity is the dominant faith. It doesn't preach death to people who don't believe in it and it provides a great moral framework for peaceful communities. Jesus showed us a way to flourish and as we have stepped away from Him over the last few decades we can now see the resulting chaos unfolding all over the place. Those are my observations as a 'beginner believer'. To your point about the hubris of believing you have a place in heaven, yes I agree. I hope I never think like that.

I've watched a lot of videos like this, they are part of what nudged me along the road to believing in Jesus and god because it sure sounds like what the Bible says about end times applies to what is going on the world now. Wars, rumours of wars, earthquakes and lawlessness - exactly what is happening. It's a fascinating but scary time to be alive and I pray each day that I will have strength and courage in the times when I most need it.

@Ali Paterson I'm the same as you Ali, it's good to be aware of what is happening around us anyway and try to the best of our ability to be on the right side when it comes, even if it's not in our lifetime. I've not heard of the Mount of Olives teachings, I must look that look that up.
A favour please...
Hi all - an old friend of mine who I met whilst living overseas has been going through treatment for colon cancer. He's had to move back to the city we met in to get treatment for it and as he's been living away for such a long time, he's got little to no friend network there anymore for support and furthermore, he's got no siblings and both parents passed away some time ago. He's going through this largely on his own and having to live in a hotel while he does it. I hate to think of him going through it all alone and as strong as he is, I know it's getting him down. Would you say a prayer for him please and send him love and strength?

@Ali Paterson Hi Ali he's doing ok, he started radio this week and its not as bad as chemo apparently. I'm hoping to catch him on the phone this weekend, can be difficult with the time difference during the week when I'm working. He's sent me a couple of messages that assure me his sense of humour is still intact though which is great so whatever seems to have lifted his spirits, I'm sure our prayers have been a part of it. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers!
