Help me build the "village" we all keep talking about!
I believe that deep connection is a byproduct of mutual support. Instead of just "checking in," I want us to start "showing up" for each other. I’d love your input: What kind of support is currently missing from your world? And what is your favorite way to skip the fluff and get to a real, deep conversation with someone new? I am so looking forward to holding space for your responses and reading what’s on your heart. Can’t wait to dive into your answers! 🤍

@Sarah Alao I couldn't agree more. I love your point about being the first to open up. It’s like offering a key to the other person and saying, "it’s safe to put the mask down here." I’d love to know though, how can we transform this space into a safe one for you to be vulnerable? I'd like to know what we can do/start doing to make sure of that. I also want to know: when you think of a space where you can be yourself fully, what is one small thing that makes you feel that safety immediately? Is it a specific way of being heard, a lack of judgment, or perhaps a certain rhythm of checking in?
Quick check-in: How are we feeling?
We are another week into this journey together and I wanted to pause for a moment to see where everyone is at. Whether you are diving deep into the modules or just getting started, I would love to hear from you. - What is one "aha" moment you had this week? - Is there a specific area where you feel stuck or need more clarity? Drop a comment below. No win is too small to share.

@Sara Huggins That is such a big win, and I am so happy you're sharing this with us. It is completely normal for momentum to dip midweek. What you can try to do is acknowledge it. Remember that losing momentum is often just a natural response to stress or a busy schedule. Instead of judging the slump, view it as your system asking for a simpler pace. I'd like to add also that consistency doesn't have to mean "big" actions every day. Doing one tiny, grounded task keeps the needle moving without overcomplicating your process again. Does the midweek stall feel like you're physically tired, or is it that the overthinking starts to creep back in?

@Sara Huggins That is such a relatable feeling. When the initial excitement of the week settles, it’s almost like our brains try to fill that quiet space with doubt or extra layers of complexity. When those questions start to creep back in midweek, try to remember that you aren't crazy for feeling stuck; you’re just responding to the pressure of trying to stay consistent.

Hey everyone, this is an introductions thread! Welcome all the new members. Engagement gets you points in the community and every time you get a new level, I’ll send you something free and valuable to support your heart centred, healing and leadership journey! Stay connected to Skool by downloading the apps here: Get the iOS app here. Get the Android app here I can start my introduction: My name is Auroara Leigh and I am a woman and identify with being neurodivergent and as a person living with disabilities. I spent most of my life with complex PTSD and learned how to overcome that in a big way using a huge range of modalities and methods and I like to support others and encourage them as well. I am a spiritual heart centred leader in the social change, healing, education and DEI fields. Some of the ways I’ve embodied this are: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology - a Masters of Education in adult learning and global change, life skills coach certification, leadership diploma, experience as an indigenization curriculum developer, Indigenous-specific antiracism educator, winner of the BC Business Woman of the year Award for work in social equity and social entrepreneurship. I told my story in a multi album song release and inspire healing circles and spaces with music and dialogue. I have a 16-year-old daughter, who I’m raising to be independent, strong and connected to her heart and values. I have worked as a mental health and addictions counsellor and a woman’s stopping the violence counsellor and I have developed an in depth education journey for diversity, equity, and inclusion and trauma-informed practice for people who are serious about safer spaces in their own teams, companies, leadership, organizations. I also have a talk show on Rogers Tv called Simply Sacred with Auroara Leigh and the Simply Sacred Podcast. I’m trained in many spiritual arts and create my own sacred containers for healing. I enjoy supporting and guiding folks to create their own sacred containers, especially those who are interested in embodying being a heart centred leader and who value powerful social change and healing their own hearts to get there!

@Tammy Skomorowski Welcome, Tammy. There is something so beautiful about a teacher choosing to become a student again, and your humility is a gift to this Academy. Thank you for sharing the "unspoken" parts of your history. Breaking that silence is exactly why we are all here. We see you, we value your journey, and we are so excited to be part of your next chapter of growth.

My #1 focus is support and connection. I'm looking forward to diving into the comments and getting to know more of you, lovely people. Alongside that, I'm focused on supporting Auroara to make sure this space remain safe for everyone to share whatever they want to, judgment free. For my own wellness, I'm committing to some intentional "unplugged" time so I can show up fully charged for this community next week 💖
