Here's the challenge for today...
I'm hardcore thinking about signing up for a craft market/home show. 🎪 The booth measurements are 10' X 8'. Today, I'm working on a floor plan that will optimise the floor space. (I need at least 16' of display real estate.) Wish me luck as I've never had a booth before!! 👇🏼Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see what I come up with.

I’d absolutely love to see!
33 Free Lessons (and counting...) 👀
⭐One of the questions I get asked most often is: "What exactly is inside The Craft Market Collective?" The answer might surprise you.😲 Right now, there are 33 free lessons available in the Vendors classroom, covering everything from preparing for your first craft market to improving your booth setup, signage, customer interactions, sales tracking, planning, organisation and more. 👉🏼Some lessons include worksheets. 👉🏼Some include checklists. 👉🏼Some are simply the kind of advice I wish somebody had shared with me years ago. And the best part? I'm still adding new free lessons every week. Whether you're preparing for your very first market or you've already completed dozens, there's a good chance you'll find something useful inside the classroom. A few member favourites include: ✅ Craft Market Preparation Timeline ✅ Vendor Checklist: The One I Wish I Had Early On ✅ Signage That Actually Helps You Sell ✅ Tracking What Actually Sells ✅ Helping Without Pressure ✅ Leaving a Good Impression ✅ Booth Body Language ✅ When a Shopper Approaches 🥅My goal has always been simple: To give craft market vendors practical, real-world information that helps them feel more confident and more prepared. If you've been meaning to explore the classroom but haven't had a chance yet, this is your reminder. 👉 Which lesson has helped you the most so far? And if you're brand new here, tell us where you are in your craft market journey. I'd love to hear what you're working on. 😊

I’ve got a bit to catch up on and looking forward to it. My bells are doing well on Etsy so that occupies some of my time
👀 Vendor Confession Time...
What's one thing you were convinced you needed for your first craft market... that turned out not to matter nearly as much as you thought? Maybe it was: 👉🏼 A fancy display 👉🏼 Hundreds of products 👉🏼 Expensive packaging 👉🏼A giant banner 👉🏼 Something else entirely I'll go first: I thought I needed everything figured out before I started. (AND I'll take all 5 for $2000, please Alex!) Your turn. What's your vendor confession? 👇

Supplies & Materials
📦 Let's Talk Storage! 📦 Every vendor seems to have their own system when it comes to storing supplies, stock, display pieces, packaging, tools and all the other bits and pieces that somehow come along with running a handmade business. 👉🏼Some people have dedicated craft rooms. 👉🏼Some have shelves, bins, and label makers working overtime. 👉🏼And some of us may or may not have supplies quietly taking over spare bedrooms, closets and corners of the house. 😅 So I'm curious... Poll: Where do you keep most of your craft business supplies? And once you've voted... Do you have a storage system that works really well? Any organisation tips, storage hacks or lessons learned you'd recommend to other vendors? Feel free to share photos too. I always enjoy seeing how different people organise their businesses. 👇 Vote in the poll, then tell us more in the comments! 📦✨

We have 2 spare rooms and started to use one as an office … basically my laptop and a printer. Then I started painting when my dad passed away. Then the bells came along and I started doing readings by zoom and TikTok lives, so I made my own space in this room. Painted it, and it’s my little space of whimsy. But it’s all thanks to Walmart plastic drawers that I’m keeping it together. I’ll add some current picks later
One thing I notice as a market host...
The vendors who seem the most confident aren't usually the ones with the biggest displays, the fanciest products or the busiest booths. They're often the vendors who show up prepared. 👉🏼They know where they're setting up. 👉🏼They've packed what they need. 👉🏼They've thought through their pricing. 👉🏼They aren't scrambling to solve ten problems before the doors open. Confidence often comes from preparation. What's one thing you've learned to do before a market that makes your day run smoother? I'd love to hear it. 👇

@Lisa Graham definitely, right after my first market and setup I did. I actually made a few small but key changes. I ditched the standing rotating display and opted to just use the overhead table rod to hang the Bells on

@Lisa Graham I agree. It felt too “inventory” ish. It took away from my creative process, I felt. Plus I hated lugging it around. Once was enough!
