I’m Sonia from Bali 👋
I have been in the Community Industry for 7+ years, working across AI, SaaS, Web3, gaming, media, and tech. All my work has been remote and global, with 20+ projects across different products and teams. I’ve built and grown communities from 0 to 100K+ members, worked with products reaching 3M+ users, led teams of 20+, and hosted 500+ community events. I have always worked closely with leadership and Product, sitting between the people building the product and the people using it. A big part of my work is understanding psychology, emotions, and human behaviour, and turning that into better community experiences, engagement, and gamification. I’m currently looking for a full-time role with a strong team and a strong product. Company size doesn’t matter to me. I care about people who genuinely understand the value of community and want to build it as a real business function. I’m also open to consulting and project-based work, and I’m a Top Rated Upwork freelancer with 100% Job Success. Outside of work, I’m building my own career community for marketing professionals on Telegram (600+), growing my personal brand around community on LinkedIn and X, and hosting community-focused Spaces. Always happy to connect with community professionals, founders, and teams working on interesting products. @Marco Sebastian hi Marco! There’s any secret to it. For me, it’s mostly about trust. When people trust the company, the product, and the people behind the community, engagement comes much more naturally. The role of community management is to build and maintain that trust

We’re hiring a Collective Intelligence Analyst
This is a unique External Problem Solving collaboration within our Community Funded Research initiative, focused on the Community Industry. It’s fully remote, and we don’t care when or where you work, as long as you work when your brain works best. The workload is up to 4 hours per day because we know what cognitive overload from too much information and data feels like, as well as the emerging phenomenon of AI brain fry. Take exceptionally good care of your brain and keep it sharp as a razor. We believe protecting your mental energy is part of doing great work, not something you do after work. That’s also why we care about results, not hours. We don’t care whether you do the work yourself or use a team of AI agents. If you find a quantum hack and solve in 30 minutes what others would spend a week doing, you won’t be penalised for it. We care about quality, accuracy and usefulness. You remain responsible for the output, and the only thing we don’t tolerate is AI slop. GET PAID $2,000 PER MONTH TO HACK THE OLD SYSTEM WITH US We’re not hiring you to simply maintain what already exists. We’re looking for someone who wants to help us hack the old way of organising knowledge, talent and intelligence in the Community Industry. We’re building an open community where thousands of conversations, ideas, people, opportunities and signals are constantly being generated. The challenge is turning this chaos into structured collective intelligence that becomes more valuable over time. Your job is to help us find better, faster and smarter ways to solve this problem. You’ll help us continuously improve how we capture, organise, connect and extract value from what our members contribute. This includes: 1) Helping develop the 5 Levels of Community Investment Mastery by filtering through discussions created by our amazing members, identifying the valuable insights and hidden gems, and placing them into the right sections and subpages of the structure.

I would start by building a structured database of the community and defining what we want to capture, how we categorise it, and how the different pieces connect. This is something I already do across my work. I built Next Role this way, product feedback systems, and use the same approach for my own content and research, tracking topics, categories, discussions, responses and patterns over time. I would spend the first stage doing this manually, because that’s where we learn what information is actually useful and what the structure needs to look like. Once we have that foundation, we can start using agents to do the repetitive work, like collecting and categorising new information, updating existing records, and finding connections and patterns. The more useful information we structure upfront, the more we can build on it later
About Me — Daniel Udofa
I’m a Community Operations Manager and Community-Led Growth Strategist with 6+ years of experience building, managing, and growing communities across fintech, Web3, AI, and technology. My experience goes beyond managing chats and posting content. I’ve worked on community growth, engagement strategy, partnerships, events, social media, user feedback, KOL programs, ambassador programs, and community-led initiatives designed to turn members into active users and advocates. At CoinW, I led community and social initiatives across Africa, managing community engagement, trading education, KOL campaigns, AMAs, community calls, ambassador activations, and offline events. I helped grow the Africa X community from approximately 8,000 to 17,700 followers, and organized large-scale community events. I’m currently a Stripe Community Builder and the Founder of Builders Collective Africa, where I bring together developers, founders, creators, professionals, and technology enthusiasts through events, learning initiatives, and community programs. I’ve also organized technology and AI-focused events including Builders Connect and HeyGen Creators Connect. I’m particularly interested in roles where community is connected to business growth, product adoption, user retention, partnerships, and ecosystem development. If you're hiring for a Community Manager, Community Lead, Community Operations, Community Growth, Partnerships, or Developer/Tech Community role, I’d love to connect. 💰 Expected Compensation: $2000 and above (Depending on the complexity and level of responsibility of the position.) 📍 Open to remote and global opportunities. 🔗 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniel-udofa-865778149/
