Self-care is a business strategy, not a nice-to-have
I loved listening to Ellen's video on burnout and this quote stood out to me. Also, from posts and other videos I'm watching, I'm hearing a lot of themes about slowing down. Pick one or two things and do them well rather than get overwhelmed trying to do all the things. Also, self-care is not superficial things like getting a manicure or pedicure (though that might be deep self-care for some people). Self-care is more like getting enough sleep and food and exercise, maybe even reading a book for fun (amazing, I know!) to replenish your emotions and soul in addition to caring for your body. How are you planning on doing self-care for yourself this month? Personally, I'm giving myself permission to let go of some tasks and expectations. The benefit of having these tasks done are not worth the stress of my doing it. (Things like trying to launch my podcast or emailing my list weekly...I'm going to skip the last few weeks and just be on break.) Life will go on. I'm still alive. My business will be there in January. And I'll serve my people so much better when I'm rested and refreshed.

@Allie Proff I have a few books I've purchased that I haven't gotten around to. And a few that I've been thinking about rereading... like "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" For sure!
A Tiny Tool, A Bigger Journey
Before the bundle closes, I will leave this here. The gift I contributed is simple, but the purpose behind it isn’t. I’m here to connect with solopreneurs who want to build with more clarity and more strategic power, not more chaos. The tool is just the entry point. The real work happens when you have support, structure, and people who are building in the same direction. If that’s what you’re looking for next, I’d love to cross paths with you! P.S. New tool for Skool Owners is in the works- you won't want to miss out on early access benefits!

Good morning
I know it's early but I have had to accept that my days must start early if I want to get things done. I am in several groups that are important to me and in order to show up and connect, I will have to start early...so here I am! This a pivot that's going to help me be consistent. I have so much that I want to achieve and always had the excuse of I don't have time, but I do. In order to show up for me, it's early, early mornings. What's one way you are adjusting your schedules to be able to show up consistently?

NICE!
Are You Running Toward Something… or Just Running?
I’ll be honest: I’m still unclear about a lot of things in my business. The direction, the timing, the pace — all of it is still shifting. But one thing did become very clear: If I don’t make real changes, the status quo is not going to get me anywhere near my freedom number. There's a question that kept looping in my head, since the beginning: “How long until I reach my freedom target?” I don’t know that answer yet. But I realized I could answer something else: “If I just keep doing what I’m doing right now, where does this path lead?” That’s why the first "business" tool I created, available to you in this bundle, is a Membership MRR forecasting calculator. It started as something I built for myself, because I wanted a straight answer to that one question. It ties into something I once heard Hermozi say: In a marathon, you know the distance and a rough finish time. Entrepreneurship feels like the opposite. The directive is basically: “Run.” Your mind fills in the rest: How far? How long? Toward what? There’s a beauty to that, but also a kind of mental drift that makes it hard to lead your business with intention. Forecasting doesn’t solve everything. It just turns on a light in one corner of the path. It shows you the shape of the road you’re currently on. From there, the choices get clearer: Do I keep running this way, or do I change the route? So here’s what I’ll leave you with: If you saw a 12-month projection of your current pace, no edits and no assumptions, How would it feel to spot a sign that says “Dead End” long before you hit it 100 miles down the road? How would it feel to see “Destination on the Horizon” before you decide to abandon this route and start over?

@Patricia Terrell Exactly, for me, I think the numbers is: like one headlight.. and maybe you need six? (headlights).. It doesn't drive everything, but it's a critical factor. Energy for me is also a critical factor. I can't run hard and fast all the time; I need recovery. The revenue numbers don't fabricate energy. Other headlights to be determined... I may not know exactly how the finish line looks.. and well I think of it more as the next viewing plateau/rest stop/turning point... but I know how it feels.
