Clue 1 part 2
Clarification please: upon finishing first colour chart and adding cB do *all sizes* knit 5 rounds, or only size 9? It's not obvious to me and I notice that section isn't very thick on most people's pictures.

@Cathy Higgins and that's before starting the short rows?

@Cathy Higgins thanks! I'm glad I asked before starting :)
Rippling?
Updated to add additional photos. I have not steam blocked (I’m not sure how to do that) but put it on scrap yarn so I could lay it out. Thoughts? Will this block out? ——————————— Now that I’ve started the second colorwork section I’m noticing a little bit of rippling in the purple section. It smooths out a bit when I stretch out the work and I know this means the guage between the straight knit and color work sections are a bit off. Will this block out?

@Jennifer Downes steam blocking refers to using the steam setting on an iron and hovering it over your knitting while you pull it flat. If you use a short cable it can be hard to tell how flat the finished work will lie and some people prefer longer to help stretch the colourwork as they go. It isn't necessary, just whatever you are comfortable with. I love all my stitches bunched up so I tend to use shorter cables.
