🎬 I Thought I Was Getting Closer to Publishing… Then I Found Chapter 40 ❤️📖 @Krista Brea, I just wanted to stop for a minute and thank you. ❤️ Being in your community, learning from your lessons, watching what you're creating, and having your encouragement and support has inspired me more than you probably realize. When I started writing I Escaped Hollywood, Barely, I thought eventually I'd get all my stories down and move on to the next step—editing, publishing, and finally holding that book in my hands. Well… apparently my memories have other plans. 😂❤️ I keep finding treasures. Recently, while going through my archives, I found my original Scarlett O'Hara screen test from when I was young. I started pulling still photographs from the footage, and suddenly memories I hadn't thought about in years came flooding back. And just like that… Chapter 40 was born. 🎬📖❤️ Every time I think, Okay, Cristal, surely you're getting close now, another photograph, video, person, place, or memory shows up and says, “Not so fast!” 😂 So I'm still writing. I'm still discovering. And I'm letting the memoir tell me when it's finished. But I cannot WAIT for the day when I'm finally ready for that next step and can take everything I've learned from you about publishing and put it into action. ❤️ Thank you, Krista, for your lessons, your encouragement, your support, and for helping me believe that all these stories I'm collecting really can become a published book someday. Good morning to all! ☀️ Today, I’m officially on Day 15 of my 30-day challenge of going LIVE consistently on TikTok without taking a break! 🎉 This experience has definitely been a little challenging at times, especially trying to come up with the right content to keep people engaged during the LIVE. But at the same time, it has been educational for me as well as for the people who are listening, learning, and showing up. I go LIVE Monday through Friday at 6 PM, and on the weekends, I usually do a pop-up LIVE whenever I can. My TikTok is @JUSTSIRENA2. So here you have it. My two books I thought I could create in one day took a bit longer. And I still see areas for improvement. But here's the thing... AI cut my book production from two years (illustrating it myself) to a few weeks. It's getting to the point where AI can create images quickly, consistently, and with ease. One of the books listed was created in 2023 with Leonard AI and so there may not be as much consistency. And here's the real rub... I have not one book done, but FOUR BOOKS done. I couldn't even fathom this in the last five years. I think we're going to see a huge shift in book and film production like never before. Many have tools to do just this. Well… we are officially entering the final quarter of the year, and now it’s my job to start holding you accountable. 👀 I’m going to be checking in to see who actually followed through and published their book this year — and who still has some work to do. But here’s the important part: 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘆𝗲𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. You still have three full months left. Three months is enough time to: Finish that manuscript you keep putting off Get your book edited and formatted Finalize your cover Upload it to KDP Hit 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛 You do not need another January 1st to start over.
